Besides the eye masks, is grace & stella worth the buy?

I really like the eye patches. Found them while looking for cruelty free and vegan products, and they don't slap a markup for being either, which is rare. They have some interesting things for under-eyes too, like the brightening under-eye stick and moisturiser balm, I liked the ingredients. But I don't really want to stock up on things I won't use. If you've tried any of them, are they worth it? Especially the ones I mentioned.

I saw they had a 2-pack at Costco and it says no animal-derived ingredients but I can't seem to find anything on it being cruelty-free other than a single Facebook post. Anyone have any more information on this product?

Mascara rec?

I'm here looking for advice on vegan, cruelty free mascara that works great on sensitive skin. Id say I have oval eyes and notice with CoverGirl and lots of other brands the mascara will smudge through out the day. ..I basically stopped wearing mascara because don't like how easy it smudges under my eyes.

Vegan and Cruelty free dark perfumes

Do you guys have any recommendations for vegan and cruelty-free perfumes that are dark and mysterious? I really like Encre Noire by Lalique, but I can't find any information online confirming whether it's cruelty-free and vegan. I also really like Incense d'Avignon by Comme des Garçons and Ex Voto by Wienerblut, something along those lines.

Discussion anyone actually used typology? vegan and french but i cant find real reviews

went vegan earlier this year and have been slowly swapping things over. cleanser and moisturiser are the last two holdouts, cerave is out.

typology keeps coming up when i search, french, vegan, and the ingredient lists are genuinely tiny, the moisturiser is nine things. but every review i find reads like an ad and the reddit mentions are all one liners with no detail.

has anyone used them properly for a few months? mainly wondering whether the short formulas hold up or whether you end up adding stuff back in anyway. combination skin, nothing dramatic going on, i just dont want to order three things and hate all of them

Searching for Skincare Alternatives (sensitive + acne prone!)

Hi, I recently went vegan and am looking for skincare alternatives but my skin is SO sensitive and acne prone (went on accutane in high school). My serums are indeed vegan but my cleanser and moisturizer are not!! I love the formulation because it’s gentle enough for my skin condition but I need to find a vegan equivalent. I am currently using the Aveeno gentle oat gel cleanser and Vanicream daily moisturizing lotion. I’d love to hear some alternatives!!

Are Comme Des Garcons perfumes Cruelty Free and Vegan?

Comme des Garçons is part of the Puig Group, and I know that the group has published different statements regarding cruelty-free and vegan formulas. However, I can’t find any information confirming that these fragrances are vegan or cruelty-free, nor anything that would guarantee that they are.

Soap Free Facial Cleanser

Hi! I am going to start using azelaic acid 15% gel and it is recommended to use a mild soap bar or a soap-free cleansing lotion prior to application. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Preferably from CVS or Walmart that I can buy today but if I have to order online that's fine lol

Makeup Vegan cruelty free eyeshadow that stays/lasts

I have really oily skin and even with priming I struggle to have eyeshadow that stays strong for more than a couple hours.

Any recommendations? Prefer no shimmer, cream or powder is fine. Also looking for a palette that suits a dark winter ( me)

Need recommendations for vegan eyeliners!

Before going vegan my favorite eyeliner was the canmake creamy touch liner, but it’s sadly not vegan.

So far I’ve tried a variety of vegan eyeliners but I’ve had various problems with them. The majority of them such as the Elf and cover girl eyeliners leave black smudges under my eyes despite me priming my eyelids and setting it with eyeshadow. I tried the Julep and Sandstone peak eyeliners and I thought they were decent but I hate dealing with eyeliner sharpeners and the sandstone peak eyeliner tip was too large for me to apply it precisely. So far the best vegan eyeliner I found that mimics the Canmake creamy touch liner is the SOSHE 1.5 mm retractable eyeliner which I like a lot and have been using for the past few months.

The main problem however is that the SOSHE eyeliner costs twice as much as the Canmake eyeliner (~$25 vs $12), which for me is a lot. I was wondering if anyone knew of any cheaper alternatives that provide similar results to the Canmake eyeliner but are vegan and cruelty free? Thanks so much!

TLDR: main criteria I’m looking for in terms of eyeliners are:

1) gel eyeliner
2) retractable
3) anti-smudge + waterproof
4) Thin precision (~1.5 mm)
5) Affordable

Mid-high end Foundation recommendations?

Hi all, I got totally sucked into a Pinterest makeup tutorial hole last night and realised at 32 years old, I never considered anything other than drugstore make up. I'm beginning to get fine lines under eyes and they go super crinkly when I smile which of course leaves foundation creases over the course of the day. So much so that I don't wear foundation around my eyes anymore. I currently use Avon Serum foundation topped with a very light blotting of MCo beauty pressed powder (amazing btw).

I am getting married in a few months and I'd like to cover up my slightly tired eyes without worrying about lots of creasing! Does anyone have any recommendations? I would like to go to John Lewis or Harrods or somewhere and try it out but I don't want to keep asking if it's cruelty free and vegan 😅 so warm fair skin tone recommendations appreciated!

I'm also on the lookout for a dark red lip stain (brown based, not purple/pink/cool as it doesn't suit me and will end up in the graveyard of lipsticks that I have)

I am based in the UK and my splurge budget would be £45 max but would obviously be happier with less!

Thank you in advance!

Hair Care Can anyone help me understand Luseta "vegan" biotin and collagen?

Thumbnail

I got a Luseta biotin and collagen haircare set as a gift. Their website says "The majority of our products are vegan except [the keratin line]".

Any vegan collagen I've ever seen is explicitly marked as vegan-sourced, but this is not. It also doesn't say "vegan" anywhere on the packaging or bottles. The wording of the website is weird, too ... "the majority except" kind of leaves room for interpretation imo.

Does anyone have insight into whether these products are actually vegan?

Ty!
