If you’re talking about the very last noise that the bike made as the engine was off, it’s the idle air control valve resetting I do believe! My cross country does this also! If that’s the noise your talking about out it should be considered normal!

IAC reset is correct answer and is a normal occurrence/sound.

The sound is completely normal, don't worry about it.

Check your oil. Was that a cold start? The oil gets pumped up and into your hydraulic lifters during warm up. It takes a minute.

Alright, so your oil level is good, it’s probably not cold out where you are. If it still makes that noise when warm the  it is very likely that this is just the “Victory tick” caused by tiny metal particulate circulated through your oil and into the tiny channels of your hydraulic lifter tips over your camshafts. The purpose of these lifter tips is actually just to prevent this sound for aesthetics. MOST Victory’s have this tick. Some have it when it starts up for the first time from factory. Some get it over time. It doesn’t cause any damage or other issues. There really isn’t a way to fix it, I’ve asked master victory mechanics.

I’m very rare cases, when the ticking is very loud, it can be a failed hydraulic lifter (not just the tip). There is a video by The Vic Shop that shows how to diagnose this but you have to get under the valve covers. If you have the stock airbox, that’s a problem.

It’s really not possible to distinguish on recorded audio. Maybe you can compare with a similar victory bike nearby.

It’s none of that. The noise he’s hearing is the normal cycling of the IAC valve when the bike is shut off.

He didn't ask if the oil was "good" (whatever you think that means). He asked if the bike was warm or not. Ya know, if you answer the questions anyway you feel like it, you'll never figure out what that sound is.
