It’s perfect! And very flattering on you. But don’t choose it unless YOU love it. So many ways to accessorize with veil, hair piece, jewellery, etc

Sweetheart, let me ask you something…..do you feel your most beautiful when you look at yourself wearing this dress? If you do, then this is your dress! If YOU think it needs something special, then have the stylist help you add embellishments. But only if YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED! Take care! 🩷

It's simple and elegant-the fabric quality, the sweetheart neckline, the gathers, the subtle side sweep of the skirt-that keeps it from being boring. The workmanship and dress quality shine through and the dress looks absolutely amazing on you. If you feel you need to fancy it up, I would consider a statement necklace, maybe some color in your veil, fun shoes...but I'd leave the dress alone.

It looks like the Laura Ashley design my sisters, wife, and one girl cousin married in. They each were awesome and needed no frilly dress to make them standout. I love this.

Too much fabric on the lower half. It's kind of swallowing you.
Still beautiful, thiough. Just needs some alteration.

If you love it that’s all that counts. And no not simple at all. Look how it flows around you. Imagine walking down the aisle

Looks wonderful. A nice jeweled tennis necklace will look great with this. Your hair and make up will add to it all being a refined, striking look.

Not at all! It’s beautiful!
And you can accessorize in so many ways.
Is there a veil?

No. Once you’ve accessorized appropriately you’ll see. But don’t overdo that. Statement earrings and leave your neck bare.

No, it will shine with jewelry and flowers. Even a thin bling belt would work.,

Not at all. It is stunning and you shine in this- great fit, great silhouette, structurally well balanced, and chic design.

TIMELESS.
Perfect fit!
Bling it up if you think you need it, but remember this--YOU wear the dress, the dress should not wear you.
I think you will be one of the few people in your peer group who will look at their wedding pictures in 20 years and ****NOT**** say "Oh jeez, what was I THINKING?"
Simplicity is ELEGANCE. Great choice!

Absolutely not! Very stunning and beautiful! Absolute elegance. Your veil, jewelry, makeup, and hair style will add to the elegance. You could ask a wedding stylist for ideas if you are unsure as to accessories. Lovely 💐

It’s very elegant. Not every bride needs see-through panels, crystals and pearls. Some brides just want class. And you’re one of those. Congratulations!

Too simple. Plain Jane. You have so much more to give us!!!! I can picture it!!!

u/krendyB 1d ago
It’s a lovely classic dress with clean lines. It may not be “in style” in 30 years, but it won’t look hideously dated either. In that way, it’s somewhat timeless, or at least as timeless as a wedding dress can be. It’s also flattering and looks high quality. On its own, it’s a lovely dress.
The real question is do you feel beautiful in it? Does it feel like your dress?
1
u/MindDivergence 1d ago
Allows more freedom to play with everything else. Example: more jewelry, intricate veil / hair ornament, colorful bouquet etc
1
u/tumbleweedreid88 1d ago
You know what would be to die for with this beautiful dress? A long trailing romantic bouquet 💐. IMHO.

No not to simple! Simple is elegant!! You look unreal!! Wow!! Beautiful!! If you are feeling doubt- go to a bridal store and ask them for a beaded or bejewelled belt. Relatively inexpensive and an easy thing to add to a dress like this that just embellishes it slightly and you can easily remove it for certain pictures or moments! But I love it as is! Congrats!

u/Chance-Sympathy7439 1d ago
Did you try on more embellished dresses? I chose a more simple dress, as well, because the more elaborate dresses just didn’t suit me. I absolutely loved some of them, but they simply did nothing flatter me.
Is this perhaps a similar situation? You must have chosen this particular dress because it’s the one that looked best on you, correct? Something can look beautiful on a mannequin or a model in a photo, but it’s about what looks beautiful on you.
This dress is gorgeous and fits you so well! It’s simple, classic, and elegant, but “plain” it is not. There are so many different ways to create a final look that’s more “embellished”.

The draping is gorgeous. I wouldn’t call it simple. It’s very classic and elegant, with beautiful detailing with the drape and bodice. It Will never go out of style. I love it!

it's simply beautiful. No edits needed. I think it would look great with pearls.

That is a lovely, classic gown and it is stunning on you. If you feel you need to sparkle it up a little talk to the shop employees. I remember being shown several options when we shopped for my daughters. You could also look at a headpiece/veil that adds a little drama.

Absolutely beautiful! While it is simple it is also elegant and looks great on you. You need to wear it like you own it! That will make a big difference in how you feel in it. Shoulders back and head held high! You will be stunning!

The sheen of the material elevates it above simple. Choose a blingy tiara with veil or a blingy belt.
1
u/spiciestbeans 1d ago
Here’s the thing about a simple dress. When it fits you well, as this one does, it allows you to shine and be the star of the show. The busier a dress gets, the more you risk it detracting from you. You can always add some accessories or details if you really want, but you really do look lovely in this, and it flatters you so well.

I think it’s simply beautiful & elegant. Accessorize with a tiara, jewelry, shoes if you so desire some bling.

The dress is beautiful and fits you well!
Don’t judge it until you have the whole ensemble put together at your final fitting. What jewelry are you going to wear? How will you wear your hair, and will you wear a veil?
Once you see all the pieces come together, I have a feeling you see what we see and know this is the dress for you.
Blessings on your big day and the many days that follow!

I love this kind of dress. There’s an old saying, “less is more.” I think that is very apt for wedding dresses.

Not too simple at all. Elegant and fits you beautifully. Some of these dresses are outlandish costumes. Yours is elegant and dignified.

u/DefiantRead9080 1d ago
No such thing as too simple for a bridal gown. Less is more. The dress, makeup and bouquet should be the costars.

I don't think it's simple at all. Plus you get to pick out tiaras or gloves or whatever accessories you like!

Not at all too simple. I see this question asked a lot, but what you’re missing is the subtle glow of the fabric, the elegance of the drape, and just how classically beautiful it is. You look divine!

It’s gorgeous. Simple, elegant, but I like the bodice. If you are going to have a veil, that could be more ornate.

u/EastHawaii 1d ago
NOPE. I wish more brides would see what you've done: a gorgeous, classic gown that complements you flawlessly. As a wedding guest, I want to see the whole package, not just a giant, complex dress walking down the aisle. Too much fabric, too many rhinestones, appliques, layers, see-through panels, cutouts, shiny material, etc., are a waste of money. Going "big" is tempting for a once in a lifetime event, but don't do it! If you're just adding things on to look rich or fancy, you're doing the opposite. Money looks classic and clean, in beautiful, subtle fabrics. If you want to add something, wear a stunning pair of earrings under your veil, and maybe some nice jeweled buckles on a pair of white silk slingback heels. Perfection!

No.. and it's lovely on you. If you need bling, add some blingy earrings to and/or a necklace. possibly even a short veil that adds interest. I love an unembellished wedding dress .. much more elegant.

I think it looks pretty great. Maybe if you're interested in adding a veil, it'd look even better i think.

Op- I think ur dress is beautiful, i’d only maybe suggest a couple tweaks, I’d first add
“ A line light petticoat “so the skirt stops folding inward around ur legs.. this will also make the waist of the dress look even prettier….

Id then add this sash found on Etsy” and the capelet on Cocomelody. Com
To me, these add a more finished look, with the capelet , sash being the finishing touch while still letting you be the Star🌟

u/DixieBelle021 1d ago
No! Absolute perfection! The key lies in the jewellery, the veil, the statement bag and shoes. If you want to really turn it up a notch, put a split up one of the leg seams. You have the most perfect base, but even alone it's gorgeous. Congratulations! Have a wonderful day.

u/TWH-WCTH 1d ago
Simple is great and timeless. Comfortable is more important. You can dress it up with jewelry or gloves or any number of accoutrements as you please, but this is a great dress.

Está hermosísimo! Puedes combinar con un velo o accesorios de perlas, o un chal de tul o encaje

It's simple but it is quite flattering on you. You just need to wear some bling if you feel like you need some shimmer and shine. Otherwise it fits you really well and looks nice.
