Hey folks. There have been a lot of reported posts lately for people posting underwear/swimwear progress photos without the NSFW tag. This is meant to be a place where people can find support throughout the day, not just outside business hours. If you're going to post NSFW progress photos, tag them accordingly.

Hey folks. In the last couple weeks there has been a significant number of "I'm on .25mg and I'm disappointed" posts. I just want to call out that .25mg is considered below the therapeutic threshold. Some people do feel a difference, but most people will not. Beyond that, Wegovy has a half life of one week, which means it builds up in your system for 4-5 weeks after any dosage adjustments and takes about as long to disappate after stopping it. People do lose weight quickly on Wegovy but it doesn't literally happen overnight. 1-2 lb a week is a healthy and perfectly reasonable rate of weightloss, even medicated weightloss. Additionally, remember that you still need to restrict your calories. The medication makes it easier to do so, but it isn't magic. You've still gotta put in the effort.

I‘m almost to goal. Another few pounds and a few weeks left on Wegovy. Sorry I don’t have very many before pics. It was such a low period in my life, so I didn’t take any pics. I had a mental health crisis and menopause a few years later. Between the stress of the crisis and menopause, I really put it on. Before I put the weight on, I ran, swam and lifted weights, and I was paranoid about losing lean mass when I started Wegovy. I lifted weights during my journey, and think I’ve done OK preserving muscle. I have some sagging skin, but I’ll take it!

Hey folks, I just got back from my prescription renewal appointment with my GP, and I am so happy and proud of myself. Background: I am 59, F, 5'3". I started on Wegovy in November 2025 after a lifetime of struggles with my weight. SW: 200lbs CW: 160lbs. Current dose: 1 mg injection. My doctor told me he's keeping me on 1 mg at least for another 3 months. He told me it is because I'm still losing and have no real side effects. Then he said the part that made me cry happy tears: "A lot of people who go on this medication don't see the same results as you because they don't do the work. But you obviously do, and it's really impressive."
After month of calorie deficit, counting macros, cardio, and strength training 💪 I felt really seen.
That's it. That's the story.

Hi! I (25) female was taking wegovy for a year before my insurance cut me off in April. Before I was even on wegovy (2.4mg) I had a small appetite, I could barely finish a big mac in one sitting, but ever since I've been cut off from it I've been eating nonstop, never feeling full and and gained almost 50 pounds. I hate myself for it. I can't go to a doctor for support and I don't know what to do. I feel like my body's not my own. Any input is appreciated

When reading posts here I often find myself wondering if they’re about the shot or the pill. Whether it be about results or side effects.
Anyone else? How nice would it be if posts were tagged with «Shot» or «Pill»!

I started my tirzepatide journey earlier this year after reaching a point where I just didn't feel comfortable in my own body anymore.
Been tracking my weight and measurements along the way. But today, I wanted to share something a little different.
Looking at my photos side by side hit me in a way the numbers haven't. I can see the physical changes, but I also notice how much happier and more confident I seem.
I'm not at the finish line yet, and I still have goals I want to work toward. But taking a moment to look back and see how far I've already come feels so good.
Just feeling proud of myself today and wanted to share. 🙌

So in a recent post I said how I was scared to start this dosage. Well I started it on Sunday night, to see how symptoms were going to be. Not bad at all. I had mild cramping the day of injection then I just had slight nausea the next day but it went away. So no major symptoms at all. I’m so glad. SW: 245 CW:233

What is your out of pocket for the injection? Mine is quoted almost $700 a month but I can do 90 days do the pill for $175. I see my doctor Thursday to start the process and obviously the pills are the way to go cost wise. I would love to do the injection but there’s no way I can pay that monthly.

I’ve suffered from PCOS my whole life and I’ve never had a regular or predictable menstrual cycle. I’m used to getting my period only 2-3 times a year and when it does come, it usually lasts around a month.
I’ve been taking Wegovy for 4 months, and my last 3 periods have been surprisingly normal. Around a 29–32 day cycle with 4 to 5 days of bleeding.
Could this be related to Wegovy, or is it just a coincidence? I don’t want to get my hopes up, but it’s the first time I’ve had anything close to a normal cycle. Has anyone else experienced this?

What is going on here? I suddenly hit a plateau. Generally maintaining similar lifestyle as with the steady weight loss period with exception of a bit of travel which I would expect to see some deviation, but not like this. Zooming in it fluctuates a bit but zooming out really paints the picture of a plateau. My goal was 143 to just get out of the "Overweight" BMI then assess for next goal. Is this normal? Will I need to change diet/exercise to break this?

I get prescribed wegovy by my GP. Last time he saw me was in May, going to see him again next week for a follow up and getting bloodwork done. How often are you seeing your doctor?

Hi everyone! 👋
I’m a Brazilian indie developer, and while following the journey of many people undergoing treatment with Mounjaro, Ozempic, Wegovy, and other GLP-1 medications, I realized how difficult it can be to keep everything organized: remembering the exact injection day, rotating injection sites, tracking symptoms and side effects, keeping your health information in one place, getting body insights, and staying on top of daily water and protein goals.
That’s why I created MounjaPRO, an app available on both Android and iOS, designed specifically to be a daily companion for people going through this journey.
To celebrate the recent Android launch on Google Play and gather honest feedback from the community, I’m offering 50 completely free Premium codes with an annual subscription and 3 months free. 🎁
💉 What you can do with MounjaPRO:
📅 Injection & Dose Tracking: Keep track of injection dates, dose amounts, and rotate injection sites (abdomen, thigh, arm).
💧 Hydration & Protein Goals: Track your daily intake to help stay hydrated and support muscle preservation during treatment.
🩺 Symptom & Side Effect Journal: Record how your body reacts, including after dose increases.
📉 Weight Progress Charts: Visually track weight loss, goals, and progress over the weeks.
🤖 AI Assistant: An integrated chat to help with questions about your routine, wellness tips, and treatment organization.
🔒 Privacy First: Your health data stays securely on your device.
🎁 How to get your free Premium code:
To prevent bots from grabbing all the codes, just leave a comment below and I’ll send you your unique promotional code directly via private message (DM)!
👉 MounjaPRO on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=br.com.consultoria.w12.developer.android.mounjapro
Since the app is still very new, any honest feedback, suggestions for improvement, or store review would mean a lot to me as an independent developer.
Thank you so much, and I wish everyone an amazing health journey! 🚀❤️

Kinda a good and bad actually
I've been on wegovy since February. I am still on the 1mg since it's still working. It's been slow but I haven't really been counting calories or strict dieting. I started at 255. Now I weigh about 220.
I am moving cities and packed a 40inch luggage mostly full of clothes and books. I had figured the one luggage was going to be at the weight limit of 50lbs for my airlines checked bag allowance (and I would need to buy more). It felt quite heavy
Without the luggage I was 222. With the luggage I was 255. This difference of 33lbs means my luggage is not at the the max. But also means that I lost the equivalent of a checked bag and I still don't feel like I have. I was surprised and weighed it twice and had similar weight for each try. I plan to double check it again tonight to make sure but wow I can't believe I functioned with that much weight on me when holding it while weighing it was a bit heavy

It took over a year with tears and off-track weekends, but a few bad days will not erase months of hard work. I'm so happy!! If you are stuck in the process, keep showing up keep going . The change does not have to be perfect all the time but it worth it!
Ask me anything about my routin, mental side of things, everything... I would be glad to help

Anyone else feel like their bowel movements have not been the same since they’ve been on a glp-1? When I first started I was always constipated and now I fluctuate from one extreme to the other through the week or even from week to week. Anyone else fluctuate?

Just got my Wegovy pen and was told to take the first injection before bed, preferably on a Friday so I have the weekend in case I get side effects.
I'm not keen on taking new medications before bed and am wondering when people took theirs?

I got a glp1 script for a binge disorder and it's working, I'm not hungry at all basically but my doctor assured me that the food noise and addiction typically goes with it but I haven't had that. I will have the food obsession but I'm too full to eat so weirdly I'm getting more obsessed with food than I was before, just now a binge makes me feel way more unwell. I'm only 3 months in so IDK but does anyone have experience w this

I'm doing well on weekly Wegovy jab and losing about 4-5 lbs a month. The $349 cost is getting too steep to maintain. Is moving over to Wegovy pill an option to continue for another couple months of weight lose, and then for maintenance? I wouldn't have trouble taking it as directed. Thanks!

Hi everyone!
I've been on Wegovy since January of this year and worked my way up to the 2.4mg dose. It has been working very well for me. I was on the 1.7mg dose for a while before the food noise started creeping back in, so I upped it and am pleased with the results. I started at 191 and am down to 164, which feels great, but I still have a way to go.
Wegovy was completely free through my employer's plan in Canada and I have three month's worth I was able to bring with me, in my fridge at the moment. We just moved here a few weeks ago and I'm getting set up with a new PCP tomorrow and want to get the administrative task of getting my prescription transferred over started in case there are any delays in terms of paperwork.
As a Canadian, this HMO stuff is extremely confusing with copays and deductibles. I called our provider (Anthem BCBS) to verify our coverage and they said that Wegovy could be covered with pre-authorization, so long as I have a BMI of 29 or above and another health condition (I have obstructive sleep apnea). In Canada, I started with a BMI of 27.1 to get my medication covered (levels are different there, I guess). And since I've lost the weight, my current BMI is now no longer "overweight" but only because I've been using the medication consistently.
Has anyone gone through this process at all? I realize moving countries and transferring prescriptions is not the usual route and I'm finding it daunting and confusing. The OOP expense would be $350 a month, which my husband has said is too much, so I'm starting to get really worried since the positive effects not only on my weight, but my mood and mental health, have been so great.
I'm off to our first PCP appointment tomorrow and would like to go in with whatever information I need in order to get the ball rolling. Calling Anthem was a bit confusing because they said I'd need to get the prescription, go to a pharmacy so it is denied and THEN begin the pre-authorization process (which "pre" sounds a bit silly when it comes after doing all those other steps).
I appreciate any advice! Thank you!

In Canada and click counting a 2.4mg pen. Started April 20 at .25mg for 4 weeks and moved up to .5mg. Stayed at .5mg for many weeks and then slowly click counted small increases about 5 weeks ago due to 6 week plateau. (16 clicks to 18 to 20). Down 25 pounds total.
The last few weeks have been awful. Nauseas and vomit every morning. After my shot this past week I was fine the day after, but the next day I was sick alllll day and half the next day couldn’t even keep water down. I’m still suffering with nausea and skipped my shot two days ago hoping things right itself. Hoping once I feel better to go back to .5mg (16clicks) as it seems the wheels came off once I increased even a little.
This seems to be ongoing and I’m very frustrated and exhausted. I’m not dehydrated or in any pain but I’m concerned about my nutrition as I can barely eat let alone anything of merit. Living on saltines and arrowroot cookies. From day 1 I’ve been a slave to gravol and pepto.
Have doctor appt to review but it’s not for a couple weeks. Do I need to switch to something else? I would have thought things would have gotten better by now. 5 months of feeling like garbage is not ideal. The first month I was good. Now it’s just constant gastro issues.

I started Wegovy back in April at around 255 lbs. I’ve lost about 25 pounds since then and got down to 230, which I’m really happy about.
The problem is I’ve been stuck at exactly 230 for about a month and a half now. I haven’t gained anything, but I also haven’t lost anything. I’m currently on 4mg and it feels like I’ve completely hit a plateau. Has anyone else experienced this after having good progress at first?
My doctor said going up to 9mg might help get things moving again, but unfortunately I just can’t afford the higher dose right now.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation? Did you eventually start losing again while staying on the same dose? Anything you changed that helped break the plateau?

I had statred 0.25 weegovy pen for 3 weeks, right now 4th week
I lost about 4kg already
To be honest im heavy eater i can destroy and vanish a 3 person dish easily
But now i cant and concerned about my muscle as it says you will lost muscle much faster than fat
My plan was
double my daily usual protein
Quarter amount of my usual carb
No special diet just usual with some modification,so i can stick after wegovy
To be honest it is magic
I wonder what 0.5 will do more ?
Thanks for your reading

Been taking 0.25 for a whole month - I ended up gaining 3kg but got no side effects. 3 days into 0.5 and I woke up to what I thought was going to be the most greatest and relieving flatulence of my life and let's just say I needed to change the bed sheets. And that was yesterday.. I'm writing this glued to the toilet after racing through traffic, leaving my car in the middle of the road with hazards on to barely make it to the toilet.
Is this normal?! Or should I stop?
