Seriously, no notes, that's a perfectly acceptable delivery mechanism, it has been through far worse in the warehouse.

My only objection is the guy walking on the lawn. :\

[edit:] The number of people in this thread that were never taught as kids that it's impolite to walk on someone else's lawn is too damn high.

I delivered newspaper for a bit as a kid. 100% of the times the ones that needed to be "porched" were thrown from the sidewalk.

We had three guys in a pickup truck delivering ours! One driving, one sitting on either side of the bed yeeting papers into yards/onto driveways. I just had the most vivid memory of that huge THUNK sound that the Sunday paper made.

I did this in the '80s and we had to use our bicycles. I was maybe 10 years old.
