AC not working right since yesterday

And we work remotely 😭

Still blows out air but it's not cool/cold. Waiting for our AC guy (we rent, and there's been so many AC issues as long as we've lived here). Hopefully it'll be a quick fix when he comes and we won't have to wait for a part to come in the mail or something.

This is with all the shades and windows closed. We're in SoCal. Thank goodness this didn't happen when it was in the 100°Fs last week.

Probably the capacitor going bad on the unit outside. Is the fan still working on the unit?

Yeah no compressor is running. That's a super easy fix for the HVAC tech.

OMG thank you so much! I hope that's all it is and he can fix it when he gets here. It's been so hard for me to focus on working today.

The same exact thing happened to my unit. It was blowing cool in 10 minutes after he arrived

That sucks that that happened but aweomse it was such a fast and easy fix, so I'm hoping it's the same for us! Thank you for all your help and kind comments 😊

But also, there's a chance the compressor is dead. That is more tricky and expensive to replace.

I hope not! The AC unit is like 3-4 years old.

Hopefully it's under warranty. Mine came with 10 year parts and labor
