Basically the title. It’s been quite a few months since they closed. Is the remodeling done? Hope Andrea and Michael are doing well.

I was always wondering why there isn't more development in the Morgan Junction area (similar to the Alaska Junction). It is easily accessible, has amenities (e.g. a supermarket) and has a frequent bus stop.
Is there an appetite for something like this?

Overall how interested would people be in forming a West Seattle Outdoor Rec Group?
I know there's probably a Meetup, but my issue with it is that many times the spots are limited and people live all over Seattle. It makes coordinating carpooling difficult and its a new set of faces each time. Also, there just seems to be the same repetitive hikes we probably have done- Lake 22, Snow Lake, Mt Si, Rattlesnake Ledge, etc.
My vision is a community group, club that people regularly attend and get to know each other. Activities would also be geared towards individuals who are comfortable and experienced outdoors. Activities would range from hiking, backpacking, camping, kayaking, paddleboarding and snowshoeing/winter hikes.
Hikes/Activities during the week could also be a possibility as some of us have irregular schedules.
My partner and I are frequently out and about, and there's so many beautiful areas we have yet to explore! More than happy to have people join!
