Post Battle Result How powerful can a AHT-7 be?
On the hands of a patient player + kudos to random meds listening and helping out spotting, U can see every shot is just a 1 hit clean up. Build wise I'm using:
Experimental Turbo
Bond Vent
Bond Ramner
The crew is my old T110E4 crew maxed.
Is it OP? Depends on map + player mindset, and willingness of coop.
But for it being in lootbox, best just avoid since their system is kinda similar to how gacha games these days.

Discussion Did anyone check the shugo's armor?
EDIT/tl:dr: it seems lots of people are misunderstanding the post. I'm not saying the shugo is OP, I am saying it forces you into a single possible playstyle (hulldown), which is a big downgrade compared to the hori3 in terms of engagement, fun and overall use-of-brain (also meh to play and meh to play against). I would personally give a big buff to the lower plate armor, mobility and slighlty nerf the superstructure to put it more in line with its predecessor.
Everyone is (rightfully so) focused on the new, seemingly broken, german heavies, but can we talk about the shugo? How can we go from the Ho-ri3, which needs smart positioning, has got some armor but it's unreliable and requires quick peeks/smart angle holding in order to be effective to this unpennable-no weakspots hulldown abomination?
This is a PTZ78 situation, you go from a tank that needs a brain to play to something dumbproof and horrible to play against. Keep in mind, look at that lower plate, this tank won't be as strong as the PTZ78 and it will get wasted outside of a hulldown, I'm simply pointing out how lots of tank lines' unique playstyles get completely neutered at T11:
WZ113 GFT = similar situation to HO-RI3.
T110E5 = from lower plate baiting, aggressive gameplay and a strong hull to, you guessed it, hulldown tank.
Maus = needs very precise angling and knowledge ---> Just angle randomly and wiggle in a ratte.
M48 Patton = from versatile gameplay, can do a bit of everything to, you are not gonna believe this, mainly hulldown tank.
Not every tier 11 is subject to this, but some lines legit see their (imo) main selling point completely destroyed when upgrading to t11. I understand lots of people won't care about this, I mean, if the hulldown t11 will be more effective than it's predecessor, that's all that matters to them and that's fine. I just think it's very sad to see fun tanks get reduced to boring machines, even when they become more effective in the process.
Maybe it's only me, since I like to learn a tank and get good results in difficult vehicles to play, but I don't see how the game will benefit from completely stripping it of all of its variety and creativity.
Nowadays it feels like if you know how to play a couple tanks, you can pretty much play everything else and, when everything feels the same, what's the point of buying new stuff?

Discussion Shugo the Hype of Trash
Was soo hyped for this and they got me.
Rocket is complete ass. Damage is mostly around 20hp or less on heavies. Needs buffed badly. Even the tasch secondary is more beneficial, but on a TD like this needs reworked.
Armor is trash, even the Ho Ri3 had some fun bounces.
Main gun is ok.
Geesh they really got me on this one. 😔
*
Update
I appreciate all of the comments and feedback from both sides.
After playing this tank for about 15 more battles, I can safely say this tank is shit and my opinions are stronger than before.
I’m confident to say that most people who hop into this tank will not enjoy it.
This is all and happy hunting.

I highly recommend this as a stress reliever. I will go an entire match with zero damage and not a care in the world as I scan the screen for one of those scum to ruin their match. You will get very fun messages after games too lol

Question Brothers in Arms = Vents? So why always the first perk choice?
Edit: in case it's not clear, I'm not talking about leaving BIA out completely - I'm talking about when you train it on a developing crew. I'd probably take it 2nd or 3rd in most cases. Maybe 4th in some cases - all depeding on the needs of the tank and the crew arrangement.
I've kind of blindly followed the very widespread advice of making BIA the first crew skill all my crew members take since I started playing. I also used to put vents on a lot of things until I understood mechanics much better and started fitting out my tanks by leaning into their strengths or filling their weaknesses with respect to how the tank likes to be played (or how I like to play it).
I only just recently started wondering why the heck I'm taking BIA as the first perk on everything. For tanks that need view range, for example, wouldn't Situational Awareness / Recon often make much more sense as a first perk. Similarly, camo on a stealthy tank and snap shot on something with poor gun handling? BIA first seems to be like putting vents on a tank that needs stabs or optics, or LNE to reach its goals.
I'm not sure if I'm missing something mechanics-wise (I don't think so) or if I've just been making a big mistake all along and need to start doing some retraining to get some immediately better results from a lot of my tanks.
I've seen the 'controversy' over the value of vents a million times on here and never once have seen anyone talk about BIA in the same way.

Discussion Type 5 ammo rack problems.
So lately Ive noticed a lot of ammo racks on type 5 through YT vids, and also while playing my tank i get damaged in the ammo rack more than any other tank, was there a nerf or bug going on, or just bad rng for the type 5 atm?

Discussion $900 in false charges
Edit for clarification: the invoice is from wargaming US, not from Lesta. From the official wargaming email which is the same email I have received all my previous purchases from, and have whitelisted. It's in Ukrainian though. There are three and only three vendors I use this card for. Wargaming, steam, and Amazon. To their credit, WG had already cancelled all of the charges. Either they, or my bank went a little overboard and they also refunded everything else I bought over the last few months. The likely hood of the card in question being compromised is EXTREMELY low. It has not left my house since I got it. The part that makes the least amount of sense to me is why I was receiving the invoices for a WoT account that I never made. If it's stolen payment information why would you send the invoice to the person you're trying to steal from? I will be sending everything in to wargaming for them to look at.
6 x $150 transactions from wargaming on one of my cards this morning. On the Russian server, which I have never once made an account for. Invoice sent to my email (in Ukrainian) like any other time I give wargaming my money.
This is the first time in my life I have had to report fraud to one of my cards.I have not had an account breached in 10 years. I will never touch a wargaming product for the rest of my life.

Discussion MOD IDEA? or does one exist
Please let me know if there is a mod that allows switching from the campaigns
I will be getting the Blackrock this week just through doing dailies and weeklies. I told myself I would go back and complete the remainder of the Windhund mission to get the extra rewards . However, now that the new tank is coming out, and i understand its to be completed in t8 and higher, a cool way to min/max would be to allow switching back and forth into missions
For example - MOD that would select the Fossa mission if i was playing tier 8 but switch me to WNDHUND mission if it was a Tier 6-7.
Another way could be to switch once dailies and weeklies are maxed out back to the windhund .

Discussion MBT level LT WZ-219

I tried both Scout and also support build, all I could say is this thing in late game, it can deal hefty dmg while keeping up with the team, but the draw back, this thing has same crew number as AMX-13-105, 3 crew members, so u kinda need to build a different crew for this girl,
Scout build - CVS, Bond Optics, Bounty Exhaust.
Support Build - Bond Vent, Bond Rammer, Bond Optics.
Crew wise, standard 3 man Scout crew same like AMX-13-105.
It's strong on late game when u need to scout out campers but u also need to control the use of its Ability else u just screw yourself.
For the Ability, u dont need to go too deep, just press abit and get a tank indicator and it's enough so u know where the enemy whereabouts.

Discussion WOT addiction LITERALLY steals hours of my life. Help me please!!!
LONGREAD. (I have used a translator from my language to english, this is not AI text, its my message)
I’ll start by saying that I first played the game in February 2025; I had just quit my previous job, and while looking for a new one, I filled my spare time by playing it. Then an update 2.0 came out that gifted players a free tech tree line up to Tier 10 and New Year update with another free tech tree, and things really took off from there... I probably spent about 350-400 hours for this game...
I started playing almost every day—at first for an hour or two, but later for three or four whenever I bought a GFN subscription (my laptop isn't powerful enough to run it locally, so I always use GFN—either the free tier with its one-hour limit or the paid subscription). In other words, that limitation didn't stop me; if anything, it had the opposite effect. Right now, if you look at my stats, I’m a total "tomato"!
That means I shouldn't even be suffering from the "sunk cost fallacy," because I’m not a good player at all—people often point that out in the chat right at the start of a match...
Even if I lose five, six, or seven matches in a row and then win just one, my desire to play doesn't vanish—it actually grows... How do I break this cycle? It’s directly affecting my life; I don’t have a family yet, but I need to advance financially—which means continuing my education rather than putting it off. But I just can't seem to manage it.
I’ve even tried deleting the game and hiding anything related to *Tanks* from my Reddit feed, yet somehow I always end up back here... How can I deal with this? I can't control myself; the game triggers a strange mix of a "high" and anger—sensations that, for some reason, my mind actually enjoys... Please, can you recommend effective way to leave? I've tried to delete my account, but stopped literally at last click...
