SOL Plot with a Veteran

Hi, I’m looking to do a long term, SOL style story, with one of my favorite OC’s to write as. His name is John Dupuis and he’s a veteran who lost his wife while on duty. If you want more information on him there’s a pinned post on my profile with a character description. I’m trying to work on improving the quality of my writing with longer replies and more details. I’m not a naturally gifted writer but I’m eager to improve my skills.

This is just an example of how out two characters could meet, I’m open to any other ideas as well either for an SOL plot or other kind of stories as well. I’m really looking for stories where the plot and your character force John to open his mind and challenge his beliefs.

I typically write in 1-4 paragraph responses and I’m ok with 1st or 3rd person perspectives. I can also go longer I just won’t be able to reply quite as much. I’m most available weekdays during the work day (EST). I am preferably looking for people 21+ (I’m 24M).
