Off Topic [OT] The mods here seem to have gotten really sensitive to violent and/or problematic subjects.

Upvotes

Earlier today, I posted a prompt that was meant to result in some genocide-happy Germans from the 1930s getting their shit pushed in by a group of monsters. I come back later today to find that the post has been removed, despite the aforementioned group being near-universally hated to the point that identifying with them (jokingly or not) is an absolutely enormous red flag.

Furthermore, a response to an older prompt of mine got the third of its three parts removed due to violating the TOS.

Am I the problem here, or are the mods suddenly so opposed to violence (against objectively horrible people or not) that the mere notion of it made them too squeamish to let it go?

Writing Prompt [WP] “You are stubborn!” The phrase was shouted as a near insult, a chastising observation of a character flaw to be corrected. You weren’t listening, but Fate was. And it just so happened that a new Embodiment of Stubborn was needed.

Feel free to swap out ‘stubborn’ for any other adjective if you’d like!

Writing Prompt [WP] The monster and the slayer befriended each other & learned about each other's ways of living. But when they have their falling out, the slayer uses their unusual experience with monster biology to become the best monster hunter. The monster, likewise, becomes the best human hunter.

Inspired by dragonheart (or I guess an alternate universe where Bowen and Draco have a falling out), with Draco learning to catch harpoons out of midair. But also by Hiccup's knowledge of dragons (hating eels, having a spot on their necks that puts them to sleep, dragon catnip, etc.). But this could also be with vampires, or with anything really.

Off Topic [OT] Erotica?

I don't see Erotica listed as a genre. Is that something that folks post here, or is that better in another channel? I don't want to post in the wrong spot or offend anyone!
