Question Which boots

hi there, so I saw the vamp boots having highest wr.

However I often find myself buying t2 boots quite late, at whcih point not sure whetehr omnivamp boots are still worth, or just opting for mercs when enemy has cc.

Whats the best appraoch?

Let me shatter your world view a little bit. Ask yourself why certain builds yield highest wr %?

1) do all yi players play perfectly (majority of the sample for the statistic)? Not even close, most play on autopilot 2) what champions are famously played by people unable to do basic mechanics and they just right click with moderate success? Uhhh e.g. yi

Ok to the point now. When you analyze the statistics of 10 000 yi players and their buildpaths it is likely the most popular builds are not situationally best or even best for players thay know what they are doing. It merely means that on average an average yi player (likely no hands) will have best results with said build.

In conclusion, if you cosnider yourself to be bad at the game and you cant play yi to its limits then follow the meta build and go omni boots or whatever else the stats are suggesting. If you are capable at the champion then situationally different build paths will be better and you are way more likely to have more success with a different set of items thats specifically tailored to your playstyle.

Ps. I used to follow the guides and peaked low diamond wondering why cant I climb higher? But then the above logic struck me and I started experimenting with items that best suit my playstyle and situationally perfectly complete what in trying to do - my wr skyrocketed.

Take it with a few grains of salt of course! Gl on the rift!

Omni boots definitely will get more value the earlier you get them since you need 10 stacks to get max value. If you're getting late game you'll have way less value and maybe wont even get 10

If you're running LT, vamp boots after Kraken. You can get Tenacity from Elixir or Wit's.

Then don't bother with Omni boots. They're best for extended fights with stacked LT and you don't want that with HOB.

i mean the highest wr build was kraken ie ldr i think, or kraken collector ldr with HOB and with omni boots, thats why im not sure about it!

idk i dont fk with them. i rather get armor boots or tenacity. fights dont last that long to use them properly. def stats are better imo
