We have a pretty established book club and are looking for some new faces specifically in the Fraser valley area at the moment.

We’re mostly fantasy/romantasy readers so there’s a lot talk about morally questionable book boyfriends, spice, and yelling at each other about book recs. We do read other stuff too and all book girlies are more than welcome to join.

We meet up in person sometimes to do crafts, brunch, bookish events etc . We do a monthly book and a corresponding online Q&A with that author. Which is honestly so much fun.

Has anyone else noticed that the Tap water has a pretty potent Chlorine smell today. It literally smelled as strong as a swimming pool. I live near the Cabelas area and noticed it from two seperate taps in my home today. I can not recall ever noticing it like this in the past.

Hello all, I have a low mileage toyota 2005 ce with broken rear bumper and a few scratches/areas which may need a paint job. My gf is coming to town
Next month and she likes road trips with music. I can’t buy a new car so looking to fix this one and add some modifications like an apple car play with reverse camera (not the mountable one but the one that replaces the stereo), woofers (if needed), automatic window rolling buttons than the manual ones, add something for reducing noise from outside, etc. Is there a shop that can do this at a reasonable price? Anything else I can do to make it a decent car?

I’m looking for local tattoo artists that can do a custom Ethel Cain inspired tattoo for me. I don’t have instagram so it’s kinda hard to find artists when basically the only way to find them is through that platform. Anyone have any ideas of who would be willing to do this?

Edit: I am wanting a tattoo of a stinging nettle with the lyrics to love me is to suffer me weaved in there. I want the artist to take creative freedom on how that looks. But placement is on the forearm. Maybe a wrap around. Still tossed up with placement and size.

Figure this might be a long-shot, but I thought I'd ask if anyone was a witness to a motorcyclist going down on Wednesday, Aug 26 around 4:00pm. He was going north on Mount Lehman Road by the airport, by the "plane lookout" near the parking lots/Tradex.

Another car moved into the right lane and forced him onto the shoulder, and he went down in the gravel.

A few people stopped to help him up, but he didn't think to ask for contact info in the moment.
