I think this one went over my head as a kid because I'm an only child but what exactly was the point of Shelby telling the tale of his self that split off and become his little brother?

There is an episode with a scene I love and I have looked high and low and cannot find it. Here is what I remember (some of this may be slightly inaccurate because it's been years since I've seen it):

Finn and Jake are in separate locations. Jake is sleeping and Finn is in danger. Finn tries to reach out to Jake telepathically for help. Jake punches away Finn's request for help and continues sleeping.

Hi fellow Adventure Time fans. I’m currently watching the series from start to finish for the first time. I had started watching on Amazon back in 2020 (if i remember correct) before, but back then they only had 3 or 4 seasons. Now I have HBO Max, and they have all 10 seasons. I’ve just reached the end of Season 2 and realized that the episode "Mortal Recoil" is missing; it jumps straight to "Heat Signature" after "Mortal Folly". I almost didn't notice, since episodes often end abruptly without a direct lead-in to the next one anyway, but that specific episode is a two-parter. When I checked the episode list on Wikipedia, I noticed that in later seasons, multi-part episodes are occasionally missing entirely, or only one of the two episodes is available. Does anyone know what’s going on there? or where i can find these episodes?

I’m in Germany, in case that helps. I know that streaming services sometimes have weird licensing issues, but I thought that applied to entire seasons rather than individual episodes.
