I wish I could drink enough of these to get a buzz but I end up feeling way too full.

I just moved to Spain and there are dozens of old cider bottles in the basement, no idea how old but almost all of them have white chunky stuff sitting at the bottom or floating around in the bottles, is this safe to drink?

Hi all. Been feeling really nauseated, presumably from drinking too much. Does anyone have any golden tips because I feel awful. Thanks.

So I found this odd bottle that says its Butterfly Cannon Blue, but has a teal top, and looks like a reposado. Is this a scam or whats going on here? Ive never had butterfly cannon, so I cant compare its taste to actual butterfly, but it tastes alright or fine, not as high as my expectations were for butterfly tequila though.

i remember the first time i drank vodka (4 days after my 18th birthday). it was a really special memory to me for some reason, thinking about it makes me feel sad and happy at the same time. its a bittersweet memory, being in my room alone, drinking vodka with green tea. haha i remember when i tried to drink it straight briefly and damn near vomitted everything, my throat was burning like fuck haha so funny. i was listening to music and jumping around in my room after drinking. i was reallly hungry... i ate bread with cheese. i had 200ml of vodka.
my very first time trying alcohol was beer, i didnt feel anything so after that day (my brthday) i bought soju. it was my very first time. 3 days after that i immediately went to vodka.
anyways after my birthday i was drinking almost every week for nearly 5 months or so, which was quite bad. its funny. i dont think i was addicted or whatever. i mostly drank because i was lonely. i always limited myself to one single bottle of soju per week. (13% ABV, 360ml) after i got into engineering college i havent had time to drink and i dont feel like drinking anyway. but it was a special, sad, bittersweet memory.

On Sunday I had one frozen margarita and finished it at 5 pm. Took my UA today at 11 a.m. Had a lot of water yesterday but I'm still stressing about it since only 42 hours passed. Am I cooked?

I drank Thursday - Sunday because the stars aligned and different friend groups were doing things each of those days. Thursday night I blacked out, but I remember most of the other nights. Monday (yesterday) I was horribly hungover. I took a melatonin to go to bed and drifted off to sleep.
I was suddenly awoken by a loud noise and it felt like someone was shaking me. My first thought was I was getting robbed and I should go to my closet somehow and get a weapon. Then the shaking stopped and no one was there.
Anyway, that was an eye-opener and I will not be binge drinking 4 days in a row anymore lol. Cheers!

I read so much on Reddit that I know I’m not alone, but extreme health anxiety guy over here. I’ve never passed out, but feel like it a lot of the time my neck is so tense it’s getting pushed down, breathing is weird and run out of breath just whispering, can’t go to sleep for a couple days, body is definitely in fight or flight. Just been bedridden.
Then you look up symptoms and the first thing is go to the hospital, heart attack, then ask it again oh you’re dehydrated and sleep deprived it’s just a panic attack. Last few times I went for heart, it was just a panic attack and some slight alcohol withdrawal. Hard to know exactly what is all going on, then…
Drink alcohol and takes just about all the symptoms away. I see how people can get so hooked on this stuff. I tried so many times to lay there curl up next day and pray it out to Jesus Christ / God then just doesn’t get better, back on the train.
At the end of the day, I know God can answer prayers and I will get through this, no more hospital scares or anxiety. Have you been in a situation like this? What has helped you? A few weeks ago I was drinking a bottle of vodka a day then tapered off for 3-4 days after when I thought I was dying in the hospital again but then tapered off and anxiety was all gone after a few days with little panic attacks here and there. So it can be possible.

I'm sorry if this comes across as ignorant but I have a very simple question, what's the point in alcohol? Dose it enrich the taste? Dose it change the pallet when eating? Dose it even have a point in a meal? See, I don't drink and I see all these posts about smoked whiskey and bourbon ect. It makes me think the point of a glass of wine or alcohol in General is to enrich, enhance or change the taste of a meal. Is this not the point, if not how is alcohol meant to be used.
I was considering trying things and whiskys sound like something you should have with a meal. (Also sounds good to me. Not sure why, more of a calling I guess.) My main interest in the beverage is just wanting to have it with meals as an added point of flavor. Mind you I don't mean as a ingredient but as a side to the main.
