Issues with drinking
I’m very nasty when I drink. I black out most of the time when I’m out with other people. I caused issues with me and my ex ( part of the group ). Now they all blocked me and told me they want nothing to do with me. Are they right to not want to be my friend because I black out ?

As someone similar I can honestly say yes. People say when they drink, they break out in handcuffs. When I drink, I break out in fisticuffs. I will argue, demean, invent shit to be angry about, throw things, decide that I am absolutely in the right and escalate the situation from there.
Then I sober up, and I feel like an ass. And I am. No one should be subject to any kind of drunken angry abuse, especially if they are trying to have their own sobriety. Selfishness is a common quality in drunks.
