so i was in a match today and got killed out of nowhere. it left me wishing apex had a killcam that would show a quick replay of whoever knocked you. so i guess a knock cam lol. would this be too difficult to add?

I love Apex, but it sucks after taking a break sometimes. I'll stop playing for a bit, get significantly worse and then completely shat on when I come back. It's not the game's fault; it just feels so bad.

Has anyone else noticed that pubs players are extra cracked? Bunny hopping around and beaming everyone without missing shots for the most part. This makes chilling in Apex extra difficult.

This comes from someone who usually soloq's to masters and occasionally plays in CC. But even the matches there are just way easier (not saying they're easy), as you wont get bunny hop hipfired all the time.

Just a disclaimer, I am not complaining about the state of caustic in the meta. I think it’s fair that he is good in enclosed/tight spaces and kinda garbage otherwise.

But for the love of god, am I just being a wuss when I see a caustic team indoors or on a platform only accessible via zipline, and I decide that we’re better off not pushing?

We’ll be situated to move on or wait until we have a better option or advantageous game state, but without fail, a teammate will rush in to try to outplay a caustic in his gas. I’ll follow them into the stupid play because I’m a team player but it seldom works out for us.

Again, am I being a wuss for expecting my teammates not to push a caustic team so wildly?

Redownloaded to play after a break.
Game will either crash to desktop or a few seconds into the main menu it will restart my PC.
Every other game I play is fine, my pc is stress tested and running without issues. It is just Apex is the issue.
I have tried
-adding it as exclusions
-running it from both steam and EA.
-deleted my local files
-redownloaded EAC
-reverted gpu drivers back to July.
-added the launch option command people have been saying is a temp fix but I’m also on intel but still don’t work.
-I have deleted all mouse software
- I turned off nvidia overlay
-hardware accel is off on discord

I can play R5reloaded just fine.

So I know loot boxes are banned in Belgium the country where I live. But I'd assumed the rest of the world could also buy the event skins this way, but apparently not. Would y'all prefer if it was this way or? I'm assuming yes because if you just want 2 or 3 specific skins it would probably turn out cheaper. Also I don't exactly know the system of how you're supposed to unlock the event skins when you can buy loot boxes, are it then event specific loot boxes you need to get, and are they the same price of regular loot boxes?

And lastly what even is the price for lootboxes if let's say you buy a pack of 100.

Currently, my PC specifications are insufficient to run Apex Legends smoothly. In fact, my PS5 Pro offers far better performance. Despite this, the reason I continue to stick to PC gaming for FPS titles is that I have always played them using a mouse and keyboard (M&K). Since I am completely used to and comfortable with mouse and keyboard, I have no intention of switching to a controller. Since I play most games other than FPS on console, I purchased a PS5 Pro first, intending to upgrade my PC later when budget allowed. However, the recent absurdly high prices of computer hardware make it very difficult to commit to an upgrade.

However, other titles such as Overwatch, Battlefield 6, Call of Duty, and Rainbow Six Siege already support native M&K on consoles. I completely understand the concern that enabling M&K could impact the console player base. But as implemented in those other games, plugging in an M&K on console could simply place players into PC matchmaking pools—where both M&K and controller inputs already coexist. Furthermore, controller-only servers would remain completely untouched and fair for console users.

I don't believe the developers are unaware of this suggestion. While small in number, there has been steady feedback about this over the years, and I understand that it was explicitly stated back in the Season 18 Q&A that there were no plans to add it.

As the game is about half a year away from its 8th anniversary, the absence of this feature likely means there is still not enough overall demand, and it is also possible that the developers simply do not wish to implement it. Alternatively, it might be because mechanics like "lurch" are not coded into the console version. I completely respect that decision. Nevertheless, given the skyrocketing costs of PC components, I sincerely hope official native support might be considered at some point in the future.

Lastly, this is merely my personal opinion and by no means a complaint. While I truly hope to see this feature supported one day, even if it isn't, I completely understand and will happily continue playing on PC as always.
