I’m not super sweaty, am I gonna get destroyed?

I just finished the first two endings and during this trip i assemble what looked/feels good to play with to make the build i'm using now (i didn't look any build online i don't know if this is really basic) and i really like this build,

But i wanted to maybe experience more of what the game as to offer and i wanted to know what little things i could change to try something different or just the build you had the most fun with

(for now on i mainly played light build because i find them most fun but i'm not against trying something new)

Before fighting them I saw a lot of people saying it was insanely hard, several hours on it. I struggled for 2 tries before beating it (and im really not that good) but as I’m playing the game 3 years later maybe it had an early nerf (like the stun needle) (I’m also playing light AC with MG014 pilebunker and 2 P17SPL-16)

I still can't decide what to place on the right shoulder, but the idea is to burst stun with 2 shotguns into melee punish and some extra damage with shotguns while the enemy is stunned. The only enemy I had to swap shotguns for was Snail Balteus.

Sorry for cyrillics in advance. This probably won't work in pvp but in campaign I use it to glue to the bosses, stun them with pair of machine guns and punish with dagger. Works fine so far, but I can't decide how to make it even better. Any suggestions?

Three months' free time to make these. Work-life balance is hard. Orange lights are separate magnetic lights, and the blade is one light strip with a battery box. For the top, I bought a techwear jacket and modified it like last time, but I can't quite settle on the pants yet. Next mission: make mecha gloves.

So... yeah. I beat AC1.

First and foremost, I want to thank everyone who helped me in the last post. Thanks for the reassurance, kind words, and for telling me to relax. I took "Being a True Raven" a bit too seriously and forgot to just... enjoy playing the game.

And thanks as well for the advice of configuring my controls. Using the face pad to look around literally changed how I played the game. I went from barely clinging on to being somewhat decent. A good improvement, I say.

Just making this post because I feel like I somewhat owe it to my fellow Ravens who helped me get this far, and it's a nice ending to the other two posts of my AC1 journey, finishing this in a neat Trilogy or three-act structure.

Now for my thoughts on Armored Core 1 overall after finishing the game:

Pretty good. I can see why everyone loved it, and why it grew as a franchise. For a PS1 game, it had nice lore and worldbuilding and pretty good mechanics, especially for its time (most likely). Even now, despite my raging, frustrations, and taking the game too seriously, I had fun in the end once I just let myself enjoy playing how I want to and not how I perceived "it should be played".

So, when I actually let myself have fun, I did. I'm happy that I finished playing AC1 with the goal of having fun and not just the goal of beating it so I can say I did.

And honestly?

I'm glad I didn't give up playing it. It makes for a good memory of a good game.

Even if I did internally rage a lot, but hey, that's part of the Armored Core fun!

Thanks for being with me in this journey--especially to those who tried, and did, help me out. I think this is where I'll stop the Reddit posts of my AC journey. I'll keep most of those experiences and memories of playing the rest to myself, as not everything has to be shared.

How do I know if my EN recovery is good without having to go back and forth with testing my AC? They dont show EN recovery in the specs section and its giving me quite the headache...

For me it genuinely took ages to fight both Iguazu and Volta at the same time. That stuff still gives me nightmares haha.

A while back I posted one of my little experiments, CURSED POETRY. This is the sequel to it, HERETICAL SERENADE, now with an all new affront to the eyes. And the worst part is, it is still ungodly fast for its frame and lance wuerger actually work together well. Any suggestions for ways to make the AC worse while still retaining speed and usability are highly encouraged because it would feel great to have others partake in my crimes against humanity.
