I think circumcition is a permanent removal of a body part and permanent change to an organ of a human. And I think such changes can only be done by a consent of a person but the problem is that children cannot consent thus boys or young teenagers having one should not be allowed and only must be done if an adult male decides to go through it themselves. Many parents do that to their boys and I believe being a parents do not give them a permission to remove even such a small body part from a a person

I was circumcised as a child. I don’t hate the fact that I am circumcised I just hate the fact that it was forced and done without my consent I wish I would have had the opportunity to choose it for myself when I am an adult.

I made 2 friends for the first time in years after attending a 2 week program. I organized a hang 2 weeks ago at an arcade bar and we all enjoyed our time there. Our group chat was popping off for a few days after the hang but it declined to the point where I would try to have conversations but I get met with just sparse "haha" or love reactions here and there. The last message I sent was 4 days ago and no one has said anything since.

I want to schedule a hang this weekend and I think an escape room this time but I'm wondering if it's worth putting in the effort. I don't want to annoy them but I still want to spend time with them. They're my first friends I made in years and I don't want to lose them because I enjoy their presence and conversations but I can't force anyone to stay. I think you can tell already that I'm very rusty with how to navigate friendships.

Should I still send out an invitation to them anyway? My anxiety is holding me back right now.

(24M) Since i was a kid i've been yelled at by my dad when things don't go the way he wants. Sometimes i've had answered him with yelling too, and things got even worse. When i just quietly hung my head, he relaxed, but it was like swallowing shit, if you understand me... He lacks empathy at this point. He talks to others the way he wants, but doesn't like others talking to him like that.

I've met hundreds of person with this same behaviour, annd my response doesn't change. I just freeze. Sometimes i get the control and just keep doing my stuff quietly, but i still get hurt.

Like when i was working at a retail drugstore. Several times came a customer complaining and being agressive to me. I just freezed. Then i had to hear more complaints, from the customer and from my manager, for being slow. It was too much for my mind.

I felt like Alex from Clockwork Orange, when he is at the aversion therapy with Dr. Brodsky, being beaten and insulted for no reason in order the become "civilized" hahahaha

It is frustrating to me, bc i want to just "don't care", but i cannot. It is a mind control i fail to have, but i like to change that. I don't want to feel week and harmless anymore.

Health Care Professionalism and Leadership is the class title.

class assignments are: responses to interview questions, resume creation, job search and cover letter creation, job pitch video, LinkedIn profile creation, and an email request for a letter of recommendation from a professor or an employer. **these assignments are noted in the syllabus to cover the Health Communications sub domains of professional writing and use of electronic technology.

These are the certification areas that would concern Leadership and Professionalism.

Last month I heard a strange oscillating sound at night, I couldn't find anything about it online and once it stopped I just forgot about it. However earlier today I noticed it again. I tried to search it up again but couldn't find anything relevant in my area, just reports of electronic humming and screeching but nothing with an oscillating or pulsating sound.

Both recordings also have this strong rumbling noise if you turn the volume up but there wasn't a storm or anything. Earlier today it was a bit windy but I remember July 6th being fairly calm as it was the middle of summer. I don't know if that rumbling has anything to do with the oscillating frequency as it may just be my phone's mic being weird (As you can only hear it when you raise the volume really high up).

Something on the region on the underside of my jaw feels like it shiften to my chin when I yawn. It has only happened to me about 5 times my whole life and I wanna know if it means anything is wrong. so me and my ex broke up mutually 3 weeks ago. we care for each other, but i think we had to work on our own problems by ourselves because it wasnt working out. my ex texted me a few days ago, saying he missed me and he hoped i was doing okay. we talked a little, and he was saying things like you can talk to me if you need anything, ill always care about you, i want to see the person you will become, etc. so i was inclined to ask if he would br interested to try again in the future, and he said that he would never rule out the possibility, but he wouldnt wait for me and i shouldnt either.

i know i should not wait for him, and i want to live my life, but its hard getting rid of that hope knowing the possibility is there. it is also hard when he says really sweet things to me after we split up. he says he wants to catch up every few weeks, and he guarantees ill speak to his family again. so im not sure if he has hope either or he is trying to move on.

Not sure if this is the right place to post this. Not long ago i became aware of my wife sexting other men. One time while she was in the shower i noticed her phone ring, as i looked at it, i could i read the word “wish i was there to scrub your back”. That text message answered many of my questions as i was already being suspicious. After thinking about it for a week or so i came to the conclusion that she was happy, and seeing her happy made me happy. One day while having dinner i decided to talk to her about it. I looked at her straight in the eyes and told her i knew about the other guy she had been sexting with. She looked at me with no facial expressions at all. I proceeded to tell her that i was not mad, upset or disappointed. I told her that i loved her no matter what and seeing her happy made me happy. She continued to just look at me and without saying a word, she leaned forward and kissed me. We continued with our dinner and have not talked about it since. Did i do wrong?
