Just had a LP of Aurora 4x C# 2.7.1 come across my YT feed, and *had* to try it out. One hell of a hook, I'm definitely intrigued. Watching the "Absolute Beginners Guide" by MO Chad, and got to the point of setting up fleet orders. I've built a couple really basic survey ships, and went off script to design and build a couple tanker/tenders (fuel only for now) to stage out in the more outer regions of the Sol system, so my survey ships can stay out just that little bit longer.
But I'm flummoxed by how to set up a standing or conditional order for either class of ship that does exactly what I want to do.
I want the survey ships to SV: Five System Bodies, easy enough, but then I want them to have the doubly conditional order of LG: Refuel from Tanker OR LG: Replenish at Colony based on which one they are closer to. I can obviously set both orders, but order of precedence would be key, and relative distances wouldn't. If both orders kick in at 20 percent fuel reserves, the one higher in the list triggers first, and if one order has a 30 percent trigger while the other triggers at 20 percent then the 20 percent will never trigger. And either way they won't aim for *either* the colony OR the ship depending on who is closer, they'll aim for whichever order takes precedence exclusively.
And the tankers I want to have a standing order MV: Rendezvous Point but I have two separate rendezvous waypoints set up (one for Sol "East" and one for Sol "West"). I can't figure out how to tell them WHICH RWP I want them to go to and hold station on.
Is what I'm looking to do even currently possible in 2.7.1? Once I have colonies doing stuff I'd like to make sure that anyone who goes for resupply of any kind actually goes to a colony that can supply their needs, instead of getting a ship stuck in orbit unable to refuel because "Mars doesn't have any fuel reserves" and the ship's orders sent it there instead of Jupiter because Mars just happened to be 100Mm closer at the time.
