Those who play co-ed softball would know what I'm talking about. If not, the way it works is that there's an ethics rule about letting girls make their own plays in co-ed.

For example, a male SS and a female 2B are going for a pop-fly. The ball is significantly closer to 2B side than SS side. Yet despite this, the male SS runs all the way over and makes a nice catch. Instead of your team celebrating, they scream "LET THE GIRLS PLAY!". This is likely caused because the male SS had no faith in the female 2B. In other words, if a ball is closer to a girl, you're expected to let her attempt to make the play.

Does co-ed basketball have a similar problem where men won't let the women play? Such as never passing the ball to women or always taking their rebounds?

What exercises (and how many reps/day) should I do to increase my range and strength? I can shoot pretty consistently around 1-2 steps away from the 3 point line but when I try to shoot from the 3 point line I always end up airballing. I've tried "using more legs" and stuff but I don't think its working. (I'm around 5'1, been playing for 6 months)

How is LeBron James still a dominant force in the NBA at 41 years old? While most legends are long retired, LeBron is going into his 24th season, rewriting our understanding of what an athletic career can be. This isn't a fluke, it's a masterpiece of design.

Being the second option means you get alot of media coverage and praise as someone the star needed but you dont deal with 1/20th the criticism the main star has when you lose and overall dont have as much pressure on you to do anything special yet still get to put up shots. And you even sometimes get lifted up or elevated by people past what you ever where just to bring down the legendary player next to you like how people raise pipen to crazy heights to say mj had amazing help and was carried by pippen or say things like "Kyrie carried/saved lebron" For hitting the shot. Its overall easier because your legacy isnt on the line nearly as much but you reap the benefits for being a really good second option.

Struggling to be effective off the ball, during my rec league. Any advice on how to move without the ball aside from setting screens and running baseline. I feel like I’m too stagnant on the three line. My team says they need me to think to score more aside from passing, but I just don’t feel in rhythm without the ball.

With my group of 4 or 5 guys, sometimes we play a Turkish game, sometimes we play 2x2, sometimes we play free-for-all. All half court.

On Sundays, I sometimes go to an indoor full court to shoot by myself, and I was wondering: would full court FFA work?

I know it would be chaos, that's partially the point. But I think it would also add a funky deception later: imagine you get a rebound and you have to take it to the top. You can either keep running or turn and shoot at the same basket. You could fake like you're doing one then snap and do the other.

I guess everyone would get very tired very quickly, or it would end up being half-court FFA with an annoying reposition every few baskets.

But I like the running.

I've played at a lot of parks in my town but nothing gettho. Today I went to a different town to where a friend lives and played there. In my mind I was thinking "oh it'll be just more carries, unnecessarily aggressive, some arm grabs the usual etc.." this grown ass man grabbed my dick cause he couldnt get past me when I was defending. I honestly thought at first it was a mistake but the weird vibe continued. It made no sense sure play dirty but then he would call some bitch ass fouls. I swear people say anything about lebron and they bring up 2011 when kobe was on some bs in 2004. Like Lebron after the meltdown proceeded to reinvent himself to win 2 in a row yet people will still bring up 2011 every time even after proving himself but no one wants to bring up 04 when talking about Kobe. Its even worse because shaq was doing what he was supposed he was by far the nest player on that team like he always was but kobe decided to play hero ball and shot them out of every game. He averaged 22 ppg on 38/17/92. And he got beat even worse than lebron in 2011 losing 4-1. We need to start bringing up 2004 anytime anyone tries to say kobe did anything good like we do with lebron.

I'm a 14m who started playing like a year ago, but I didn't care for training with my left hand and only played with my right. This season I will start playing games, but I can't even make a left layup/control the ball with my left hand. Does anybody know how I can improve my left hand to the point where I can at least make a left layup? It just feels off whenever I try to.
