Question/Recommendation 6 Month Potty Regression

Is this normal???? She’s been pooping and peeing outside, but today, she literally peed outside, made a beeline back inside, and then once inside, immediately pooped on the carpet. She’s had pee accidents but it’s mostly been when someone other than myself come and check on her during the day and hang out with her while I’m at work. They’ll try to let her out, she won’t go pee outside with them, then comes back in and pees on the carpet. Ok, fine sure, it’s not someone else’s job to train them when I’m not here and they’re doing me a favor by coming and hanging out with me while I’m at work.

But this poop thing. What the heck????

She’s a 6 month old basset, and this is the first time she’s actually rushed to get back in (I thought it was just because someone was on a night jog and it spooked her so she wanted to come back inside), but to immediately crap in the floor 😩😩 What am I doing wrong?????

Mabel used to put her head out the doggy door and poop inside . Bless her heart .

But she also had a huge bladder stone that had to be removed after we rescued her . She was on special urinary tract food the rest of her life .
