A proper sealed crowler should hold pressure as long as any other can. They're a bitch to purge but your seamer was fucked if you had pressure loss.

If you are filling off your own system, and then taking it somewhere to be consumed within the day I think you’re totally fine with a traditional growler with the screw cap.

I'm an old homebrewer and i always been simple using soda bottle with carbonation cap. You can source them from kegland and they have other mini-kegs options that are cheaper than stainless. I also have SS growlers when i want to bring not too much beer to a reunion, but i prefer the convenience of soda bottle and bring more in a cooler.

Since you already keg, torpedo makes a 6 liter corny keg, which is about 1.6 gallons.

You could close transfer as little or much as you want and even make a small jockey box for it.

I made a jockey box from one of those 10 gallon coleman water coolers that fits up to a 3 gallon keg. It's all in one and keeps the keg cold too.

You could still make it work. Either treat it like a growler and pour right into the keg with a growler filler faucet adapter,

Or just get sankey coupling to hose to ball lock disconnect for closed transferring.

Heck, I use sankey kegs as well sometimes, so I got keg connectors that turn a sankey into ball lock. Then I can quickly switch between the two.

Then you could use a co2 tank to dispense and not have to deal with those mini draft kits that use proprietary parts and expensive co2 cartridges.

Or just put into stainless growlers. They hold co2 just fine, up until you pour any beer out.

I frequently bring bottles and growlers off my taps to events.

So you can use whatever size soda keg you like. But you'll go through multiple carts on most kegs. But I agree with everybody else that growlers and packaged beer are the actual solutions

Depends on how long you are looking to go mobile. Same day or maybe a weekend, get a vacuum insulated stainless steel growler. Even without ice this will stay cold for 8 hours out of the sun. You must fill it 100%, and once you open it, you need to drink it all within an hour.

To make filling easier, get a filling tube and one of these that is for your faucet type. Stick some tubing on the end of it that reaches 5mm from the bottom of your growler. Fill from the bottom up with minimal foam.

You aren't going to see much get better than a growler and a cooler to keep it in without significant investments. Once it's opened it will lose carb. There's no way around that. 

Not really anything on the market for this that's worthwhile. It's just too small a portion of beer to throw a bunch of money at.

Buy a 1.25 or 3 gallon keg, a mini regulator that uses co2 cartridges and a picnic tap.
