❤️✨ GROENENDAEL PUPPIES – 6 BEAUTIFUL FEMALES AVAILABLE ✨❤️

💙 All 3 males are RESERVED
🎀 6 females are AVAILABLE to suitable homes

We are delighted to introduce our very special litter of Belgian Shepherd Dogs – Groenendael, born in Bulgaria on 4 August 2026.

Our litter consists of 9 beautiful puppies – 3 males and 6 females. All three boys have already been reserved, and we are now looking for loving, responsible and committed homes for our six beautiful girls. 🖤🐾

This carefully planned litter combines two interesting European pedigrees:

🇨🇿 KHALYSIE BLACK MORION “Katleya”
❤️ × ❤️
🇺🇦 DARY

Both parents have FCI-recognised pedigrees.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🇨🇿🖤 DAM – KHALYSIE BLACK MORION “KATLEYA”

Katleya was born on 23 September 2024 in the Czech Republic and comes from the well-established Czech Black Morion kennel, breeder Dagmar Prchalová.

Sire:
🏆 NOX BLACK z Kovárny

Dam:
🏆 CHELSEA Black Morion

Katleya has a rich European pedigree with generations of distinguished Groenendaels behind her.

Her pedigree includes dogs carrying numerous national, international and club titles and awards, including Champion, Grand Champion, Junior Champion, Club Champion, Best of Breed (BOB), Best of Opposite Sex (BOS), C.I.B. and C.I.E.

Her ancestry includes respected European kennels and bloodlines such as:

• Black Morion
• z Kovárny
• v. ’t Wolfshome
• du Domaine de Turnago Villares
• de la Douce Plaine
• des Gardiens Cocagne

Katleya is an elegant, intelligent and lively Groenendael with a wonderful temperament. Since giving birth, she has also proven to be an exceptionally attentive, gentle and devoted mother. ❤️

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🇺🇦🖤 SIRE – DARY

Dary was born on 17 June 2023 in Ukraine and has an FCI-recognised Ukrainian pedigree.

Breeder: Olena Astapenko

Sire:
🖤 ASTIN

Dam:
🖤 HANNA DE RANCHO JEREZ

Dary’s pedigree brings together several interesting European bloodlines and kennels, including:

• De Rancho Jerez
• Black Obsidian
• Comme un Rêve Noir
• Eternity’s
• Jet Black Hellas

Dary is an intelligent, lively and impressive representative of the breed, with the alertness, devotion and strong bond with his family that are so characteristic of the Groenendael.

The combination of Katleya’s Czech pedigree 🇨🇿 and Dary’s Ukrainian pedigree 🇺🇦 brings together different European bloodlines in a litter that is very special to us.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🐾❤️ ABOUT OUR PUPPIES

Our puppies are being raised in a loving family environment, with daily human interaction, individual attention and care.

They are growing and developing beautifully, becoming more curious and confident every day, and we are already beginning to see their individual personalities emerge. 🥰

Before leaving for their new homes, the puppies will be:

🐾 regularly dewormed according to age
💉 vaccinated according to age
📍 microchipped
📘 provided with an EU pet passport
📖 provided with their pedigree documentation

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

🖤 THE GROENENDAEL

The Groenendael is much more than an elegant black Belgian Shepherd.

It is a highly intelligent, sensitive, active and devoted breed that forms a very strong bond with its family.

Groenendaels thrive when they are involved in their owner’s life. They need companionship, mental stimulation, training and physical activity, and in return they become exceptionally loyal and devoted partners.

For this reason, our priority is not simply to sell our puppies, but to find the right home for each individual puppy.

We are looking for responsible families who understand the needs of the breed and are prepared to offer their puppy the time, attention, activity and love it deserves throughout its life. ❤️

First dogshow next Sunday

First time showing. We are going to a regional dogshow, so understandably it's smaller in scale than those international ones (in Europe).

Still plenty nervous and worried that I'll be the one to embarrass my puppy T.T,  so please wish us luck.

Belgian Tervuren Female Should I Spay Or Wait?

Hi I have a Belgian tervuren 2.5yr old (16.8kg) , has had 3 previous seasons. Just not long finished a phantom pregnancy and is shedding fur everyday. I would say this is this most fur I have seen her shed to date. fur had gone very thin on upper back and back legs. Her last season finished around end of May. She was scheduled for spay begging of august but we had to cancel that due to the phantom pregnancy. She is very sensitive, can be anxious, highly excitable and aroused easily. Can get reactive on leash due to frustration/ excitement. I have done everything I can for her, training since a puppy, we do obedience daily, regularly do dog training clubs, and agility.

It has been challenging to manage her behaviours before season, and during this phantom.

Im concerned if I spay her will it make her more anxious and sensitive ?
Technically there is no medical need to spay her currently apart from I feel like that’s what everyone does, if they are not breeding dogs.

How will it affect her Coat, as it seems so thin currently?
Will it make her more sensitive/ reactive?

she had pre op blood test done this week all ok, however we experienced a horrible vet who was rude and made my dog very scared and anxious. I complained but I’m worried if I go back to this vets it will negatively affect my dog. I also suffer with sever anxiety and depression. It’s making me feel sick to go back there and I have this dread feeling I am so scared to put her under anaesthetic for surgery. Where I live there are not many close by who do lap spay, my reason for this lap spay was I was thinking it is meant to be less traumatic for them and quicker recovery.

so please only helpful kind comments as I am very sensitive. If anyone has any experience with the breed and if you have spayed or not spayed please.

many thanks I appreciate any help or guidance .

Would a Groenendael actually fit my lifestyle? Looking for honest owner feedback

Hi! I’m considering a Groenendael as my next dog, but I’d like to hear from people who actually live with them.

I currently have an adult Samoyed. Our normal routine is one long walk a day, usually around 2 hours, almost entirely off leash in forests or parks. She spends that time running, sniffing, exploring, digging, swimming, basically doing whatever she wants, We live in a house with a big fenced garden that we use for play and trainings. She can also just chill outside, lie around, sniff, sunbathe and obviously go out for quick potty breaks whenever she wants. On top of that, we do a few short daily training sessions, mostly obedience and agility.

For those of you who own Groenendaels:

  1. Would this routine be enough for a typical adult Groenendael?
  2. Rate dog smell in 1-10 where 10 is extreme smelly
  3. How are they in busy urban environments?

Never too Tired to Velcro

This is Bubbles he’s a 1 year old, half Belgian Shepherd (40% Laekenois 10% Mal) and half Red Fox English Labrador. He cracks me up, we can go for a long walk or hike and he is still never too tired to follow me around- especially to the kitchen! 🤣🤣 I also have never had such an athletic dog. He doesn’t jump, he floats up! Haha I am sure this is not a surprise to you all, but it was to me! Haha he also has never met a basket he didn’t want to sit in. Haha this always makes laundry a comedy of errors! Haha

Can I do a longer walk once in a while with my 5.5 month old belgian

Post image
74 Upvotes

I know the rule of thumb is around 5 minutes per month so 25 30 minutes at this age but usually they also add that it depends on breed and size.

How much does it depend?

For how long did you walk your belgian at this age?

I would like to do a 2~2.5h walk , 90% of it off leash (these recommandations always mention leashed walking for some reason) the trail is mostly dirt or beach, some rocks, no pavement. i can do a little break in the middle no problem

Most days I do a 30~45 minutes walk give or take, he is never tired afterwards

I live in the city and am at the seaside until the end of the month, then we are back to leashed walks and pavement, and I would like for him to enjoy a variety of walks before we leave, as he loves the beach and the sea.

What belgian variety fits best?

Hey, I am potentially looking to get a belgian in the next 4yrs or so.

I currently have a beauceron. We do obedience, herding and nacsw nose work.

Id like to do the same with my future dog but am not convinced I want another Beauceron (not seeing a lot of solid temperments) Ive always wanted a malinois one day but have been around quiet a few Tervuren's lately and really like what Ive seen. I do have ample training support for this breed due to the other sports Ive been involved with so far.

Since I am a minimum of 4yrs out before getting another dog I figured Id start talking to people about the pros/cons of their breed and potentially get a feel for the community. Ideas on breeders etc.

Epilepsy and stomach cancer?

I'm thinking about getting a groenendael puppy in the future.

Fortunately the belgian shepherd breed is generally healthy, but I just found out that they can be at increased risk for epilepsy and in the case of tervurens and groenendaels, also stomach cancer.

How common is this? Does anyone here have experience with those two varieties?

New arrival from shelter

Post image

This is Zara who came home from the animal shelter with us about 2 1/2 weeks ago. So far it’s been a very interesting ride. I’ve had German Shepherd’s most of my life. And my husband speaks fluent Rottweiler. but we have found a Trainer who will translate into a Belgium Shepherd for us. She is about six months old and was found wandering the streets. Not the best start in life for a puppy dog.

Update: I have somehow lost the ability to add photos to this thread & none of the suggestions have worked. Thanks all for your comments & help. Shepsky seems to be the best fit, especially with her “round” paws

Funny or not?

We have this gorgeous 5-month-old female Malinois puppy. We trained her so that my husband or I could handle her with ease. It is underway, of course. Today we were out for her walk, and my husband asked her to stay near him. But because of his stand under the sun, and I was a little bit off and protected from the sun, she chose to come near me. I found her very clever at that moment, but now I wonder if other people have experienced this with Mal. And if we should do something about this or not. She did answer the command, but towards the person that best suits her needs at that moment. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Been lurking for a little bit and finally decided to share my girl Zakii! She was a rescued at 6 months old, now she's 13! We were told she was a Belgian Malinois but I quickly realized she was definitely something else entirely or mixed.
