Love
Back to training now that I have a proper training bike.
I want my body back after health issues
Dailies like this until 12mph avg
Then increase distance, then speed, then distance
Until I am single focused on distance
Want/need to get back to daily metric and weekly standard centuries
Rubber side down

Amazing to me this is Costco
gallerySo I'm in Portland, Oregon. This is one of our Costcos in the area. Two long bike racks and a bike locker. The convenience of the bicycle culture of the PNW in car dominated America

Bicycle themed Mail Club for a Bike Non-profit!
Hi Bicycle Culture community!
I work for Working Bikes, a Chicago based non profit that strengthens local and global communities by giving donated bicycles new life and redistributing them as tools for self-determination for over 25 years!
With 25 years of history we have quite a few relics of the past specifically Schwinn Bikes! Our next print for the mail club features a bunch of the decals we have in our collection (not even close to all of them) If you are interested for just 10$ a month you can support all our donations AND get some fun bike themed art like this in the mail! You get 1 risograph art print as well as a newsletter talking about our story, all printed at local community press Spudnik! You can subscribe here, thanks!

Sometimes the best rides are the ones you do alone
When I first started cycling, I always thought riding with other people was the best way to enjoy it.
Group rides are great. You learn a lot, discover new routes, and there’s always someone to push you a little harder.
But lately I’ve been enjoying solo rides more than I expected.
There’s something nice about going at your own pace, taking a random turn, stopping for a photo, or just riding without having to worry about the clock.
Still love a good group ride with the right people though.
Funny how the way you enjoy cycling changes over time.
