An Osprey using what appears to be a Tiger Trout (maybe Brown) as a snowboard or skateboard!

Our Ring camera caught this and nothing else. We went to check the area a minute later and the hawk was gone. We found a 4-5 inch hole in the general area of this bush. Can anyone weigh in on this behavior? Does it seem injured?
