Programming What's your best easy to remember BASIC program you could type in and leave running on a computer in a shop / classroom?

We’ve been discussing this on the BBC Micro and Spectrum subreddits!

10 POKE 646, 0
20 PRINT CHR$(147)
30 PRINT " DR STEVIOUS RULEZ!!!";
40 FOR I = 0 TO 15
50 POKE 53280, I
60 POKE 53281, I
70 NEXT I
80 GOTO 30

This is typical of what I would leave running on the display C64 in a department store when I was a kid 😊

Probably the same one everyone my age will name, but it's been in my head since 4th grade in, I forget, 1981 or so (and on a T-shirt I have since ~2020):

10 PRINT CHR$(205.5+RND(1)); : GOTO 10

I saw this and thought "that can't be easy to remember" but then instantly knew what it did so I guess it was!

10 D=53280:POKED,0
20 K=PEEK(D):POKED,PEEK(D+1):POKED+1,K:FORK=KTOD/8:NEXT:GOTO20

Like being gently POKED with a FORK every 8 seconds.
