First day in the office with this new MQ24 my wife got me. She said she loves the honest look and the simple beauty of it and thinks it marks this time in our life where we are working hard and building our future. I love her sentiment and the watch ❤️

At first glance, this could almost pass for an early A700. But the SA-410 was released back in 1982, nearly four decades earlier. The slim rectangular case, stepped bracelet and overall proportions make it feel like the A700’s forgotten ancestor. What surprised me even more once I had it in hand was the build quality — the metal case gives it a far more substantial and refined feel than I expected.

1.5 years of search comes to an end. I Will Ask in almost all physical Stores whenever I go to mall. And I will be very disappointed when they say No Stock sir.

Casually checked in Casio site and to my surprise it was available and immediately placed the order. After my order again it went to out of stock.

Coming to watch, I love this watch. An absolute feel Good factor and it has the bell sound for every one hour which is very useful.

Big, Beautiful, Legible, Useable, Simplicity.

Two years with Apple Ultra 2. Finally jumped ship after 15 years Apple ecosystem and got rid of all that nonsense. Back where I should be, used to be, with Android and Casio.

Still deciding what Gshock to go with. Last one I had was a Mudmaster GG1000-1A5.

This huge gorgeous screen will more than do until I make a decision. For 25$ it's crazy how smile inducing it is to glance at the time compared to the expensive Ultra 2.

This combo would be perfect if either device did vibration notifications for messages n calls.

Moving away from the ubiquitous stainless link takes it to a different level of classy vintage for me.

The strap was rubber and that fell apart like 10 years ago. Funny to see that the battery lasted longer than the straps. I still remember the straps coming apart so easily and looked like candy. Let’s see how many more years its got on its clock 🙂

Officially in the tribe

I've had the A164W for over a year and I liked how light and unpretentious it is. You almost forget you're wearing it. Some months ago I added an STN display which cost more than what I paid for the watch, but it improved on the legibility so it seemed to be worth it.

Meanwhile, I got myself the ABL-100WE, mainly because I wanted something slightly larger to fit my wrist better, and I could do with the little extra quirks like timer and step counter. The screen is brighter, light transmission is actually useful, although the time shown is smaller than the A164W, the legibility is much more improved even over the STN, and it chimes slightly louder.

My mate at work ordered an AE1700 off Amazon. Imagine his surprise when a sewing machine arrived.

One of my favorite Casios - understated pure functionality!

It's been 2 years since I bought this Casio MTP - 1302. Honestly it was love at first sight , I picked it up right after spotting it on a store shelf. Tbh I was still new to watches so I was super excited and just picked it up based on its first impression.

The fluted bezel is amazing.

The price to value ratio is off the charts!

The quality of the leather is wonderful. I wore it for 2 years , everyday during my high school days. Whether it was hot , raining or super humid. The leather is still holding on pretty well despite its age. I didn't need any replacement yet. Only issue is the case being ion plated. It's very prone to scratches and sometimes even shows the underlying colour. Well can't complain much looking at the price.

Overall loved it. It got me into watches and I have only purchased casio's ever since.

This watch checks so many boxes for me, including aesthetics and functionality, and I'm an absolute sucker for plane-shaped seconds hands. Does anyone have any experience with this one? I'm wondering specifically:

- How does it look on your wrist?

- Is the lume actually as good as it looks?

- Is it loud (a positive, for me)?

- Is it going to hold up well to wear and tear?

- Any other thoughts?

I know it's gotten some heat here for not being very Pro Trek-like, which is a feature, not a bug for me -- I prefer fewer functions.
