I told my girlfriend this joke as, "I'd tell you a joke about the roof, but it would go over your head." She replied with, "Oh, go ahead, and tell me the joke. I think I'd get it." Fortunately, she said it with a twinkle in her eye and a snicker that told me she'd turned the joke back on me. Good on her!
