Kinda loses the message when your character is conventionally attractive and the 1st dude is being psychotic

Yeah, like she was cute from the get go. I mean it doesn’t have to be an ugly duckling situation necessarily but the message would probably be better reciprocated

Agreed. The elements of this story have been taken to such extremes that it's lost the pulse of its own agenda.

It's a drawing. I think it's better to assume a drawing is just average human looking unless specified otherwisd

It does happen sometimes.

I knew a guy in collage who, while not attractive himself, often loudly announced to anyone who would listen that he refused to date any woman who wasn't a 10/10. He frequently spoke poorly about the looks of girls who I considered to be very attractive.

I like to think he's still alone to this day waiting for some perfect woman to find him.
