So I found on my countries marketplace a guy that sells ps2's, ps3's and xbox360's and I deciding on what to buy xbox 360 or ps3. Like what's more flexible in moding and who has the better library.

I currently own a launch-model PS5, which I played heavily for about three years before building my PC. Before switching to PlayStation, I originally played mostly on Xbox One, so I am familiar with both console ecosystems.

Now that Grand Theft Auto VI is coming out without a PC version available at launch, I am trying to decide which console would give me the best overall experience. I am considering keeping my current PS5, upgrading to a PS5 Pro, or moving to an Xbox Series X. My main priority is choosing the system that will run GTA 6 the best in terms of graphics, performance, image quality, frame rate stability, and overall features. I also want to consider whether upgrading would be worth the cost compared with simply continuing to use my launch PS5.

The ds is the one console I always come back to the age of the games mean absolutely nothing to me I remember as a kid 100%ing bolt on the silver ds ahh the good old days

I have bought a new controller for my PS5, and with it had to rework my senses in games... Now the senses feel quite okayish, but still it feels like my back bumpers, R2/L2 feel stiff and like they either have to be pushed very hard, or they don't activate...

The controller is under half a week old ... Any tips how to make the bumpers more responsive

So I just got a fat cheque from my job and have some spare money to spulge on either a new or old console. I don't want to make the mistake of buying a console on an impluse decision. Went through some of the posts on this subreddit and it seems like the GTA VI hype has jacked up used console prices. I'm not in a rush to buy or play GTA VI. This would be my first PS (I have gamed on PC for the longest time) so there are a lot of exclusives I haven't played or games I have played on subpar quality that I'd like to play in 4k before going to GTA VI. My concern is -

1) are the current high prices (40-55k) for a used console here to stay even after the GTA VI hype?

2) or is this a good market to buy as Sony has delayed PS6 release and the memory shortage might get worse and worse.

What do tech enthusiast and gamers think? Right time to buy or wait some more?

I managed to get Currys to price match a very listing error giving me £40 off a digital ps5 to last years base price at £479 instead of £519. I have doubts about consoles going on a sale this year because black Friday is a week before GTA 6 releases.

I don't wanna buy for £479 now and then regret it it's like £350 for black Friday. I know last year I seen deals in the region off £289 with FIFA included but with the release of GTA 6 and the rising costs of storage and ram will it happen again this time around?

I have a gaming pc with a 9070xt but I've made the decision I won't wanna wait for GTA 6 and also I can get more value out of the console by playing wolverine and some eSports titles that I won't play in pc because of their shitty launchers

Hey everyone, just wanted to share my latest Game Boy restoration. This one needed a bit of extra love since the LCD board was completely dead when I got it.
Here is a quick rundown of the repairs and mods for this build:

LCD Board Rescue trial (failed) The front board was completely dead, so I replaced the LCD bias chip to get things communicating again. No result.

Screen Upgrade: Dropped in a Hispeedido IPS kit.

Audio: Replaced the audio amp chip to fix the sound issues and get crisp, clear volume.

Maintenance: Did a full recap to make sure it runs solid for years to come.

Aesthetics: Gave the original shell a full Retrobrite treatment to bring back that classic grey.

It took some troubleshooting to figure out the dead board, but it's always satisfying to keep another original DMG out of the trash. Let me know what you think. Do you have any idea how to find the actual problem with the board?

I've got a few app games I'm enjoying like Gwent and a bank of Xbox titles in the cloud.

I was wondering about hand held PC devices and how well they would integrate my current saves.

Do I have to keep my console or will the run indipendently.

Has anyone made the switch?
