That foundation isn't "vanilla"; it is absolutely essential for having infinite level-design possibilities through diverse, fun abilities than Sonic and his reliance on speed 80%, resulting in levels that feel more like racetracks than proper platforming stages that are impossible to truly appreciate and just make me dizzy and nauseous as I rush through them, gosh his games truly cannot be a most influential example to platformers by any means due to this! Sonic will definitely never surpass Mario in the huge video game area, and that much is glaringly obvious.

Both Mario Galaxy games with much more varied and creative ideas, and even almost the entire Crash Bandicoot franchise easily mogs whatever that identity-breaker game tried to be, Frontiers was a slight step on the right direction by making the speed more controllable THANK GOODNESS, but it's still FAR from greatness by how mostly unpolished the mechanics feels and not to mention that the entire open world looks so dead and uninteresting most of the time, the 2D games I let a pass due to genuinely like some of them despite also having some terrible stinkys, sad that most of them were the CLASSIC ones (and Manía) when that blue rodent still had an established identity before FUCKING IT ALL LATER! The "higher highs" Sonic is nowadays alluded from are actually ALMOST NON EXISTENT and definitely doed't leave a strong mark of how platform games can truly evolve which other mascot platformers do SO MUCH BETTER and some are understimated by how a good inspiration it can be by looking by other ways that is not always SPEEEEEEEEED, I'll take Mario's weird but really fun arsenal or Kirby's varied and colorful tranformations over anything Sonic DESTROYED his identity from any day!

Ok, let me explain how this is highly enjoyable to me, as a cave diver, in terms the general public can understand.

You know that feeling when it's a cold winter evening and you're snuggled up in bed, wrapped tightly in a warm blanket?
Safe.
Cozy.
Nothing can hurt you.
Yeah.
This is exactly that feeling for me.
Except instead of a blanket, it's approximately 100,000 pounds of cold, damp, completely unforgiving rock pressing against my chest, back, shoulders, and skull.
And instead of a bed, I'm underwater.
Underground.
In a hole.
Sometimes several hundred feet inside the Earth.
And theoretically, if Mother Nature decided to move one particular piece of limestone downward approximately one inch, I would simply become part of the geological record.
But she won't.
We have an understanding.
So I continue.
Sometimes the passage gets so tight that breathing normally makes my chest physically too large to fit through it.
Which is actually very relaxing.
Because then I just exhale... get smaller...
wiggle forward a few inches... inhale a little... exhale again...
and continue feeding myself through the Earth one human segment at a time like a deeply misguided worm.
And somewhere ahead of me is an opening.
Probably.
Hopefully.
But that's when everything becomes peaceful.
The world goes silent.
The bills disappear.
The emails disappear.
Every problem I had on the surface suddenly seems incredibly insignificant.
Because now there is only me... my remaining oxygen...
and 100,000 pounds of prehistoric rock gently holding me in a position from which I could never be recovered.
It's warm.
It's intimate.
It's almost maternal.
Mother Nature and I are embracing.
She is simply embracing significantly harder than
I am.
And if she ever decides she loves me just a little too much...
I live here now.

Got caught sinkpissing at work.

This morning I got caught pissing in the bathroom sink at work because I completely forgot to lock the door. Female coworker just opened the door right while I was mid-stream. When you open the door, the sink is to the left against the wall, so he saw my penis expelling urine into the sink. We locked eyes and the look on her face is burned into my brain. I have been dating a 36 year old man for 3 months now. A few weeks into our relationship, my boyfriend started making comments and sharing info that made me question his sexuality and his relationship with his male best friend who lives an hour and half away by car, and whom he sees on a regular basis (every couple weeks or so). 1. They have sleepovers at each other's houses every couple of weeks, for 2 - 3 days at a time. When asked if he was bisexual he said "is there something about me that looks that way?" but still denies anything going on with Bob.
