It's food time and everyone aside from a few on the perimeter of the tank came to eat

So, I recently got peppered corys for my garden pond, and I noticed this big Chonk of a lady sticking eggs under the water lily leaves, so I guess they like it there :3 But I was a bit confused and maybe worried by her weird-looking fins. And then saw someone here share their longfins, so I thought "ah yes! that's her deal ok"
So, I caught her to take a couple pictures and compare with online references, and let her go right away. But something was weird, so I caught her again, as well as a few friends, so I could keep them inside and try to get more eggs…
Because.
I can not find any pictures of longfins where their *anal* fin is also that long :o
I am baffled, but also pleasantly surprised? The look of that extra long fin is so elegant, I love it!

Hello, I'm new here. Just got six Corys for my 20 long. They are a bit thin but I hope to fatten them up as time goes on, also I was wondering the exact species. They were sold as jullis but the markings on the face almost make me think false jullis but I could be wrong

I bought this Corydora a few days ago from my LFS. It is in a quarantine tank with the other cories I picked up at the same time. The tank is cycled, planted with Fluval Stratum substrate, and has a few bladder snails.Today I noticed a white spot on this one’s face. None of the others have anything similar, and this fish is acting completely normal, swimming and eating like usual.

Water parameters:

Ammonia: 0

Nitrite: 0

Nitrate: under 5 ppm

pH: 7.0

What could this be, and should I treat it or just keep an eye on it?

I think it likes the rocking!

I recently inherited 2 Pygmy albino corys and a stunning and chill female betta in a 20g. After playing around with aquascapes and cycling the tank for almost two months, I decided to add to the Cory Group. I started with a green gold and three pandas from a local breeder. I knew immediately after acclimating and entering the tank that two pandas wouldn’t make it, somehow. And in the first week, two of the three pandas died. The green gold is SUCH a personality and very healthy, though. At one point, nitrate spiked to 5ppm and out of precaution I’ve moved all fish to temporary tanks while I fix and wait on the cycle, now knowing to expect a potential spike after cycling. Anyway, I’m wondering if pandas are more sensitive than others to water parameters or if perhaps this is more related to the breeder? Could/should I have done anything different? Any insight is helpful. Still new to this and those two pandas passing was honestly heart wrenching, I would love to not have a repeat of this.

EDIT: water temps were consistently 78°-80°, fed alternating pellets, wafer, brine - depending on the day. Every two days there was no feeding as I felt my daughter was possibly over feeding giving once a day. Mostly live plants.

I have 3 honkers in this shoal but this one specifically likes to act like it hasn’t eaten in 3 years

Noticed this red dot on them a around 3 days ago. The sick one is paler than the other pandas. I got them from different places so thought it was normal. Haven't noticed any odd behaviors.

Parameters should be fine; heavily planted, egg shells for buffering, hard water, and snails for food safety. Berried shrimp will tell me when there is a problem.

Apologies in advance for the tank decor, one day it won't look like vomit.

It seems to be successful! Not totally sure since I gave them too many good hiding spots though and I rarely see more than 1-2 at a time, but that’s a good sign that it’s usually one of the bigger ones?

So,

I've kept Corys a handful of times before. Usually alone. Or like now, Venezuelan with Pygmy in a 20 long.

I've also mixed with Tetras, Rosbora, even successfully with a Betta.

Just want to hear suggestions for something.

Probably a single fish, I want to keep it reasonably low in the bioload.

Maybe somebody will mention something I haven't thought about.

How is it possible to have only 1 surprise baby?

Hi Cory team,

This white stuff is on the tail fin of my new Cory Similis (3 days in). It's on this one only, not on any of the others. Unsure if it was like that when I got it.

Is this something or is it nothing? Online seems to suggest tail variations can naturally look like this, but it doesn't seem right. Seems healthy otherwise for now.

New to Corydoras so would appreciate any help!

Is the Albino Cory possibly pregnant?

I bought a group of six Venezuelan orange corys a few months ago, and put them in my 90L tank with endlers. I took two out after I noticed they were staying too small and skinny, I assumrd since the endlers were eating all their food. I've temporarily moved them to a 20L to fatten them up, but lately ive noticed the smaller ones mouth looks odd. Is it some sort of fungus? I do have a small hydra problem in the tank, but the sparkling gourami fry i bred have been dealing with them. Any advice would be super helpful thank you.

This tank is 120L, 60x40x50cm. Its 6 months old tank with stable parameters, Nitrate 10, pH 6.8, 25.5C, 8dGH, 5dKH and substrate is half fine gravel half fine sand.
This is current stocking list:
•13x Pseudomugil Furcatus
•11x Iriatherina Werneri
•13x Pygmy Corys
•1x Bolivian Ram
•1x Honey Gourami (Planning on building a tank for Gilbert)
•1x Subadult and 1x Juvenile BN Pleco (Might put one to Gilberts tank)
•3x L262 Hypancistrus fry (Will rehome 1 when they grow up enough)
•2x Stiphodon Ornatus, 1x Stiphodon Neon Blue, 1x Sicyopus Zosteropholus

Aqadvisor says its heavily overstocked (Mainly because of plecos I think) but its densely planted now and will be heavily planted when all of them grow.

What do you guys think?

Rearranging my 125 gallon, my male albino bristlenose trashes the place daily. Found 5 new Cory's. Only could get 4 in the frame, but there are 5 found so far. They could be laser oranges, but they have a green color tint. Maybe just an early stage color, or my old eyes are off.

Just thought I'd make a post, I am so happy by this nice surprise. Hope all is well in fish land for everyone.
