Discussion Is CS2 really this bad with cheaters or am I just unlucky?
I downloaded CS2 about 3 weeks ago and tbh the amount of cheaters I’ve come across is crazy. I’ve played quite a few games since I started and honestly it feels like their anti-cheat is one of the worst I’ve experienced so far.I googled it and kept seeing people mention FACEIT, but I’m not really sure if their anti-cheat is actually safe or worth using So is CS2 genuinely this bad with cheaters, or am I just really unlucky? Also I’m down to play with anyone who wants to play together :)
Discussion you guys are gods strongest soldiers
im a player whos played the game for 6 years and has 4100 hours of playtime, and i quit playing 4-5 months ago because im tired of the negligence the developers have towards the community
ever since the release of cs2 the complaints have been the same: no actual vac fix, no new operations, no new gamemodes, subtick issues, servers being forced to be locked to 64 tick.
the game soon is coming up on its 3 year anniversary, but you still have these obvious faults in game performance that should not be prevalent in a game that is hailed as one of the most important in esports
you know, when csgo was still around people were throwing complaints left right and centre back then aswell, but now the majority of people now want to go back to csgo. i think that should tell you enough

Looking For Players [NA] Looking for 1-4 like-minded players to play with on faceit or premier
I have been finding solo queue extremely boring and I just can’t anymore.
What im looking for
-teammates around the same skill. Premier 17k-20k, Faceit Lvl 5-7
-Players that want to have fun, but also play competitively, trying to improve, open to practicing/discussing strategies, while also not being weird or overly emotional (rage, immature etc)
-Someone who is down to play often and rank up with
I know I'm asking for “competitive/serious” teammates but when i say that i just mean someone who genuinely wants to improve at the game, because for me the games are fun when there's structured, skillful gameplay with your team. Rather than the usual flip a coin 50-50 playstyle where there's no teamplay at all. Its just kind of boring to me
I'm currently faceit lvl 6 and premier 18k. My goal is to be lvl 10 or 25k one day. Currently playing in Hawaii, So on faceit i average around 85 ping, unless im lucky to get san jose servers which gives me 49 ping. Or on premier I usually get around 50-60 ping. So anyone on the west coast would be more ideal.
DM me for more details, I can explain more of what im down for

Tips & Guides Steam Overlay Browser URL bar is locked and can only be copied
For example, when I’m playing CS2 and click on another player’s profile, the Steam Overlay Browser opens their profile.
Normally I should be able to click the URL and edit it — for example, change .com to .rip to check the same profile on another site.
But now the URL bar is completely locked. I can only copy the URL. I cannot select, edit, type or paste anything.
It used to work normally.
I’ve already tried the usual troubleshooting, including checking the Steam Overlay settings and deleting the Steam browser/cache data.
How do I make the URL bar editable again?

Discussion Has anyone actually gotten a response from cstracker.gg or had their profile taken down?
Sent an email requesting to have my profile and chat logs taken down from cstracker.gg, but haven't heard anything back.
Has anyone actually gotten a reply or had their account successfully delisted, or are removal/GDPR requests being completely ignored?

Discussion New to CS2 - Cheating Problem
I’m brand new to CS2 and the amount of cheaters I’ve ran into is lowkey crazy, but this last one is wild.
This dude had a spinbot and his name kept changing to our names in the lobby so if you tried to report him, it said you were reporting yourself. He kept spamming the game chat too with crazy stuff and it’d say we were saying the stuff ourselves. The lobby eventually ended after like 3 rounds of this and then CS said I didn’t have a valid Steam account. Is this a normal cheat and should I be worried about his cheating / messages being tied to my actual steam?

Help Premier / Competitive.
Hi, I have a question. I’ve been playing this game since the very beginning, and I’m curious about how the ranking and points system currently works in Premier. What determines how many points you gain after a win? I mean values like +100, +300, +400, etc. On the other hand, how are the negative points determined, such as -500, -100, -200, etc.?
I’m also curious about how ranking up works in Competitive, because if I remember correctly, in CS:GO you would usually rank up after around 10 matches.

Esports The Baltic Superteam Needs to Happen: Why broky IGL is the perfect answer to the CS2 meta
With the current CS2 landscape looking a bit stagnant and several Tier-1 giants going through painful rebuilds, there is one regional project that mathematically and tactically makes perfect sense: The Baltic Superteam.
The Baltic states (Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) produce an insane amount of world-class talent relative to their population. If a well-funded organization like MOUZ or an ambitious NA org looking to return to Europe wants a guaranteed trophy contender, this is the blueprint.
Here is how the roster and roles would shake out, completely fixing the individual issues these players are currently facing:
- broky — IGL / AWP (Captain & Sniper) The Role: System Leader & Primary Sniper Why it works: broky was a known "secondary caller" during FaZe Clan’s peak eras. Now sitting on the bench, he has had the time to mentally reset and analyze the game from the outside. In this roster, he takes the full tactical reins, operating as a calm, calculated, system-based IGL/AWPer (think of the Jame style, but with a higher mechanical ceiling). Back in a comfortable, regional environment, his elite consistency returns.
- ropz — Lurker The Role: The Silent Assassin Why it works: Let's be honest, ropz is currently looking tactically restricted in Vitality’s ZywOo-centric system. Under apEX, he lacks the macro-freedom he enjoyed in FaZe. Reuniting with his best friend broky under a slower, more structured Baltic system allows ropz to return to his hyper-carry form. He won't need to be micro-managed; his chemistry with broky is already legendary.
- jL — Anchor / Co-Leader The Role: The Emotional Engine Why it works: Every quiet, tactical team needs a loud voice. Since broky is an introverted captain, jL is the perfect counterweight. He brings the ultimate hype, holds the hardest anchors on CT sides, and acts as the "cultural glue" of the squad. He handles the media, the shouting on stage, and lets broky focus strictly on calling and hitting AWP shots.
- YEKINDAR — Entry Fragger The Role: Pure Controlled Aggression Why it works: YEKINDAR’s worst career periods happened when he tried to be an IGL in Liquid. Now in FURIA, he's trapped in a high-variance emotional rollercoaster. In this Baltic squad, he is stripped of all calling responsibilities. His only job is to be the best space-creator in the world. With ropz and jL trading him out, his entry-fragging value skyrockets.
- dziugss — Star Rifler / Second Entry The Role: The Youthful Firepower Why it works: The 17-year-old Lithuanian prodigy from FUT Esports is the missing piece. While teams focus on handling YEKINDAR’s initial explosive contact, dziugss enters as the second man to clean up the bombsites. His raw mechanical aim injects the youthful "donk-like" firepower this veteran core needs to match teams like Spirit.
Why this makes business sense for an Org:
Instead of buying random unproven academy prospects, an organization acquiring this core inherits an instant, massive regional fanbase with massive marketability in Northern/Eastern Europe. jL and YEKINDAR are content goldmines, while broky and ropz bring the championship pedigree (Grand Slams, Major MVPs).
It solves broky’s bench stagnation, saves ropz from his Vitality bottleneck, and gives YEKINDAR a proper European tactical home.
What do you guys think? Could broky thrive as a quiet, system-focused IGL with this amount of firepower around him? Which org should buy them out?

Discussion Trust factor - A rant
I understand this is probably beating a dead horse, however how is Trust Factor a fair system to returning players? Here is my story:
Played CSS and CS:GO extensively even reached S+ on ESEA. Even played a lan in Philly. I was never within a country mile of being the best but I wasn't the worst. In 2016 my knife that I had spent a year trading up for was stolen from me which led to a crashout I am not proud of, but we were all stupid teens at one point. My crashout involved cheating of course. Suffice to say my account was vac banned not the VacNet cooldowns there are now (WTF btw?) but a perma ban.
Haven't played CS in a decade now and decided to play again. Using a fresh account. I've played maybe 40 games and well suffice to say I have been reported alot. There were good games and of course bad games. The pre fires and common angles are of course practically seared into my brain and the game is almost like riding a bike, which to the silver player in green trust factor probably looks like cheating. Or I have a good round and hit the luckiest shots of my life and get spam reported.
The stat sites everyone uses now reports my K/D at a 2.8 which seems to trigger everyone in my games and they just start reporting. Thus (as I understand it) has tanked my trust factor. I can't play a game now without seeing blatant cheaters.
So my question: How is an arbitrary metric that the user cannot see, does not understand, and cannot change that is essentially controlled by the feelings of other players fair to the player at all?
I am assuming there will be people responding with something along the lines of: "You cheated, reap the rewards" and to that I say: I am happy you didn't make a single mistake as a kid, some if not most of us were not that lucky.
Discussion OLED MONITORS AT THE 2026 SINGAPORE MAJOR
What do you guys think about ASUS ROG replacing Zowie at PGL Singapore 2026?
With the PGL Singapore 2026 Major being played on ASUS ROG OLED monitors instead of the usual Zowie monitors, do you think this could be the beginning of Zowie slowly getting pushed out of the pro scene?
Could we be heading towards 24/25" OLED becoming the new standard for competitive CS, especially now that we have 24.5" 1080p OLEDs going all the way up to 720Hz?
Or do you think Singapore is just a one-off/circumstantial case because ASUS is providing the monitors for this particular event?
I'm curious what you guys think. Do you see Zowie losing its position in the pro scene over the next few years, or will TN/Zowie still remain the standard despite OLED becoming more advanced?
Feel free to share your opinions.

Help Help me fix my aim again
I used to play CS2 with a Logitech G502 and was pretty comfortable with it. I eventually switched to the Razer Orochi V2, and it took me quite a while to fix my micro-adjustments.
Eventually, I got used to the Orochi and my aim felt good.
Recently, I took a break from CS2, and after coming back I'm struggling again. I'm consistently overshooting my targets with the Orochi V2, especially when making small adjustments.
when I switch back to my G502, my aim immediately feels more controlled and I don't overshoot nearly as much.
I'm using the same sensitivity, so I'm wondering if this is just a muscle-memory issue from taking a break, or if the difference in mouse shape/weight is affecting my aim more than I thought.
