Do remember you get a death trigger and can use reanimate stuff on it but I don't think it is broken.

Yeah, I would consider it a Slightly better evolving wilds. Sure if you have something that could kill it before its ability resolve you wont get a land, but getting easy death triggers and reanimation for more rampant is nice.

Note that it won't ramp if you reanimate it because of the "played it from your hand" clause (which is intentional—I was afraid it would be too easy to loop as a ramp spell otherwise). You can ramp with it if you can't otherwise hit your land drop using cards like [[Find]] to put it back in your hand.

can you actually kill it?

Yes someone can respond to its etb and destroy. The trigger would still be on the stack but it say "if you do" referring to sacrificing it, so if you cant actually sacrifice it, when you don't get the land.

I thought this was neat, a simple riff on [[Evolving Wilds]] (though styled like the New Capenna three-"color" versions) that is a creature in terms of its card type. This is relevant in terms of how easy it is to recur from the graveyard (hence the "if you played it from your hand" clause) and for purposes of things that care about creatures on the battlefield or creature cards in the graveyard.

It s a Treefolk partly for flavor reasons (that seemed like a natural typing for a land-creature) and partly for synergies with [[Murmuring Bosk]].

This is neat, I love it!

On the one hand, evolving wilds is stone unplayable in modern. On the other, this is a free creature etb and death trigger that also gives two landfall triggers and two card types in the graveyard. All together this seems almost too strong, although I don't know which deck could benefit from multiple of these things, and if you don't it I'm not sure you would run this.

Maybe you might even make it green to be fetched with green sun zenith, but I think that being colourless is cooler, and different from what already exists.

Thanks! You could be right on the power level. The main mechanics that might want it are things like delirium, domain, and landfall, but while landfall is a powerhouse in Standard right now, I don't think any of those are currently problematic in Modern. (Admittedly I haven't been following Modern as closely since the Phlage ban earlier this year.)

This has many of the same upsides as [[Dryad Arbor]], but Dryad Arbor is an actual mana dork and is green, as you noted. I think decks that care about the "land creature" typeline would generally prefer Arbor? My card is better in that it bins itself, so if you want a land creature card in the graveyard, this will be appealing to you.

Good fix for those anoying people who keep it up just to “not reveal their collors”

Ha! I did it that way so (a) I didn't have to give the creature haste, and (b) by working only at "sorcery speed" and only if played, it made it so that it wasn't strictly better than the original

This is cool. Would be neat as a cycle of duals, like:

Azorius: Land Creature - Plains Island Spirit, Defender, Flying, 0/3

Dimir: Land Creature - Island Swamp Horror, Islandwalk, Swampwalk, 1/2

Rakdos: Land Creature - Swamp Mountain Lizard, Haste, Menace, 2/1

Gruul: Land Creature - Mountain Forest Beast, Trample, Deathtouch, 1/1

Selesnya: Land Creature - Forest Plains Dryad, Reach, Lifelink, 1/2

I like the idea of giving the creature body more relevant stats / effects

I have made "colored" land creatures before, like Mountain Giant.
