Here's what changed:

Don’t get me wrong, I did the quest and let the cars go their own ways in anothet playthrough, so I know they aren’t bad. But just imagine you don’t know that. There’s just Johnny, telling you that these cars deserve to be free. Under what fuckin circumstances ? They’re all crazy, even one of them tells you their home is beyond the blackwallwhen uou talk with it (badlands), I’m not letting these go unsupervised on the streets.
And yes, I know you can merge their AIs with the main delamain, but my character is dumb as a rock, so that’s not an option for this playthrough.

Think out of all chicks in the game, aside from Judy, they look really good.

I was trying out and filling up the wall for the first time.. only to find out I already did the ncpd thing for the comrades hammer and never picked up the specs.. I feel like such an idiot right now.. and there’s no way to get it at the black market vendor.. all that work for nothing:(

I hate the Tower ending. It frankly defies logic just to be as depressing as possible because of the arbitrary "No happy endings in Night City." nonsense.

Being heavily hampered by years of muscle atrophy and being unable to have combat implants is already quite bad. But not only that, for some fucking reason V goes back to NC without any kind of bodyguards, or even a fucking gun, and gets clowned on by 2 gonk kids.

All of the characters turn their back on V, largely because V doesn't fucking tell them he's going away for brain surgery. Again, makes no sense, but on top of that, they all reply to V with so much venom that it frankly feels like character assassination. Especially Panam and Mitch. I can totally understand why Panam would be furious and wouldn't want to talk for a long while before she learns what happened, but the way Mitch talks to V is especially heinous.

I've heard people speculate that Panam is actually dead, and Mitch wants to save V the hurt. That kind of makes it better, but that's not what the game spells out. V has saved Mitch's life multiple times, was there for his best friend's funeral, and he doesn't even have the decency to have an actual goddamn conversation.

The thing that pisses me off the most is that all of V's assets get seized. Like, what the actual fuck? That's ridiculous. V is loaded enough to live the rest of his life comfortably, and all of it got seized because of fucking rent? Why the fuck would the NUSA not secure V's assets? Hell, why the hell wouldn't he make sure his assets are secure? I get why he wouldn't expect to be out for 2 years, but he shouldn't be that fucking gonk.

It tries way too hard to be bitter for no real reason to its own detriment.

on my second play through this time i romance Judy. Last time was Panam and both are terrible dancers. im going to assume Kerry and river suck too.

Does not kill himself? or commit the seppuku, to my knowledge the tower ending and to an extent the suicide ending is the only two where Takamura does not do it (I’m assuming since there was no holocall in the suicide ending) like in all the other endings that involve V raiding Arasaka tower, he does it, so why are these two the exception? I think I need more help understanding it

Why exit your car to deal with an issue? You are sitting on five hundred horse powers. Use them.

This is our Race Mode v0.1.

It’s still really early, but the basic loop is working now: countdown, multiplayer racing, checkpoints, position/timing, and a proper finish/victory state.

The fun part for us is that this is another building block for what people will eventually be able to do with OPEN//77 servers.

Right now it’s a simple race. Later it could be street races, time trials, tournaments, custom routes, vehicle classes, server-made events, etc.

Still plenty to polish, especially like UI, vehicle behavior, and all the little details. but it’s starting to feel like an actual multiplayer game rather than just networking tests 😅

Like, yeah I get why they didn't do this, creative decisions and all. But when you try to create a game so huge in sandbox and choices, and so focused on relationships with other characters, having so few options for romance is already a let down. But not only that, they are also restricted by playthrought

If you think about it, you only have 2 options of relationships per playthrough.

If you wanna make only 4 characters to be romanceable, at least have them all as options.

Its not like it doesn't fit their personalities for them to swing both ways. It doesn't break anything, and only adds to the game. such a simple change that would improve a lot the romance situation.

I mean, the guy saved my life. I like to be loyal. Is there any difference?

“Become a Legend at the Afterlife” seems like a questionable goal, once you learn everything we do by the end of the game.

Corporations routinely use Fixers for their dirty work, so the average Afterlife Merc does corpo work through a fixer.

Rogue has worked with Arasaka, after the events of 2023 (the Militech nuke with Blackhand). So it seems corporations are a fundamental part of the Edgerunner ecosystem.

Is it the case that Edgerunners are a part of the dystopian system itself?

It seems to me that V is one of the few/handful of Edgerunners to ever make a difference. In the Star, the Sun and Temperance endings, V destroys Mikoshi, allowing Yorinobu to dismantle Arasaka from within, where they eventually retreat Night City. Other NC legends are remembered for far less.

I’m just thinking if it’s a damned if you/damned if you don’t situation with Mercs and Edgerunners. They die on average in their mid twenties and aren’t likely to change age anything, other than their own standard of living.

This will forever be my favorite gig. It's quick and easy but most of all... The doctor put so much effort into saving the Maelstrom dude and then proceeded to walk past the mountain of corpses I left to get to her without saying a word.

But seriously they should fix it such a stupid bug for such a good DLC and it really ruins immersion for me at least
