Was raining and I did not see the kid riding the scooter. Only after making the turn, I saw him. Thankfully missed him. What if I had hit the kid?
If it's my fault, let me know. Happened over the weekend and still think about it.
EDIT: seems like the dashcam video not upload. Uploaded now.

I recently got a BMW i4, and so far I'm pretty pleased with the quality of the Drive Recorder function. It's only 40 seconds of recording, though. Should I consider getting a separate dash cam or will this suffice for most situations I'd need a dash cam for?

This happend a few years ago. Pulling towing a 5000lbs camper. Trailer brake gain instantly went to 100%, forward collision warning blaring, ABS fighting my 2 feet standing on the pedal, wife hitting my chest and saying "your going to hit them! YOUR GOING TO HIT THEM!" "Yeah, probably, brace yourself". Luckily I saw the red brake lights just past this car and was already moving my foot over to brake. Just didn't expect my stopping distance to be cut in half suddenly.

Hi there,
So my car was stolen two weeks ago, and it was very luckily recovered (it's a stupid and kind of funny story how if anyone wants to know).
Anyway, the police took my dashcam's microSD card to use as evidence. I have one of those fitcamx cameras that disappears into the body of the car, so the guy didn't see it (he took down the rear camera).
Insurance says they want me to have a camera that connects to the cloud, so if it happens again we have live footage and possibly location.
My issue is that I can't find any dashcams that hide-away and have LTE. Does anyone know of one that would be good for a 2023 Honda CR-V?
Or is there a device that exists that can log into the camera and live upload the camera's micro SD card footage to an FTP or cloud service?
Thanks so much!

Vaughan, ON yesterday on the way home from work.
EDIT: Looking back at the video, I was definitely going too fast. And should've caught the other two lanes slowing down/stopping. Also, that intersection lane change was no beuno. Oof. I got lucky this time.

Hi everyone,
I’m using an i-Drive i20 Pro dashcam and trying to open my recorded footage on my Windows laptop using the official PC viewer app.
When I open the software/files, it prompts me for a password. I can't recall if I have set any password, and standard default codes (like 1234, 0000, admin, or leaving it blank) aren't working.
Has anyone encountered this issue with the i20 Pro viewer software?
.jdr files directly? Any advice or workarounds would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
