i had 2 partitions on my 2 TB SSD, one partition for windows (500gb) and the other for backup (1300gb). when installing windows it wasnt recognizng the disk so i had to clean. i wanted to clean just the windows partition using CMD but ended up cleaning the entire ssd. ive tried several different softwares, all of which are asking for far too much money. testdisk is the only thing i can do but for some reason, it only progresses 1% every 10 minutes, why is it so slow? at this rate i have to wait over 14 hours just to see the results which may not be satisfying.
if anyone can help me out here please do.

I think so, but when I used 'Hasleo' it detected all my folders like my backup folder for example, but I could barely see anything INSIDE the backup folder. Not to mention the recovery process for those files are locked behind a paywall.
