>game starts
>your teammate loses chase and uncorrupts gens your other teammates get on immediately
>they get hooked right near your gen
>you don't prerun the killer and get in chase in the next tile
>the tile is good enough to play it for decent amount of time if you aren't bad with movement
>panic predrop pallet in a situation where you had way better chance of playing a 50 / baiting
>get hit again because you strafe in front of the killer that hits over pallets instead of using that speedboost and predrop to make as much distance as possible
>DC
>your teammate (most likely SWF buddy bot) follows you
genuinely why do you even play the game if you can't own up to your misplays being punished. The game has just started, you've seen the killer doesn't even have PR or hasn't used it yet, gens are progressing, just keep fucking playing or you will never learn.
it's not even some S tier killer with insane map / chase pressure you have zero counterplay against, it's xenomorph that you can prerun in square and can even decently last in loops against if you have good movement and don't fall for double back baits. nah, game started badly, instagive up go next for the next game where the killer would surely provide safe and sterile unchallenging experience.
"but xenomorph isn't fun to face" shut the fuck up everything in this game isn't fun to face at this point. the killer has been in the game for 3 years, there is no excuse to not know the counterplay and fail to apply it before you get to cry about him. especially if you DC after failing to do the correct plays multiple times in a row (don't respect the killer; panic predrop (just take the hit atp, dont waste the pallet at least); not using distance; getting in line of sight for a second attack.
Idk what else they could do to punish DCing but they must figure a way. Make a low priority queue which increases waiting time for chronically DCing people until they play through enough games to clear their name; give them a bloodpoint / grade penalty so they play purely for the process of playing the game to make them appreciate it. But either way it's insanely annoying that people can't hold up literally the only real moral obligation they have when playing this game - PLAYING IT instead of flipping the board when things don't go their way.
