Been a while
I haven’t played Diablo in a while so I booted up my ps3! Anybody still play here and there?

I started playing again two weeks ago on PC. It's still a ton of fun, especially this season.

Just know the ps3 version is stuck in the past. It's the 2013 version of the game without seasons, the altar of rites, visions of enmity, and many many other things.

Seasons ? Like the 4 seasons not a season pass something id pay for right ? I’d also would have to buy the upgraded version im on ps3 cause I don’t have to buy it but I do think its on gamepass with Xbox I just hate Xbox controller

Seasons in D3 are an added theme like Ethereal Weapons, Sanctified Items, Soul Shards, or 4 cube slots. There's no battle pass to pay for though. Seasons run for about 3 months. D3 is not being developed anymore, so there are a total of 6 seasonal themes on a rotation. Right now we're on the "4 cube slots and Clones" which are little helpers that pop out every time you click on a Shrine/Pylon.
In addition the Altar of Rites is a progression tree that unlocks all kinds of quality of life stuff. It was introduced in season 28 and was brought into the game in season 30 as a recurring thing. Visions of Enmity are stacking mini-dungeons which basically eliminate the need to run Bounties, can drop Greater Rift Keys, and have a chance of an entire *floor* of Treasure Goblins. We tend to run the heck out of them.
The other things you are missing by playing the PS3 version are major class balance changes, whole new sets of armor, Greater Rifts in their current form, and many other things.
Yeah to get the modern version of D3, you'd have to buy it again or I guess if D3 is on XBox gamepass, you could play that. You can always remap the keys.
For some reason, there are like 3-4 different versions of D3 for sale still. Depending which one you get determines whether you'll get the Necromancer class which is pretty fun and frankly overpowered.

Just got back into it on the PC. Been an absolute blast. It's so different compared to 2013! Genuinely feels like a new game in a good way
