Lesson help

im a senior tuba player about to give a lesson to one of our middle school euph players (im not charging), could anyone send me a link with a good fundamentals sheet and scale sheet that i could work through with him? thank you!

Why not just use whatever Band Method book your school uses? That should be your first resource. However, Norlan Bewley has put together a comprehensive low brass instruction center that should have everything and anything you could want to get a beginner started. I have to agreewith Mr Leisestrum here…first lesson you have to assess where the student currently is, which you can do with their band method book. Then you can figure out the next steps:
air stream and sound production (long tones, like Remingtons), flexibility/lip slurs, dexterity? You can use scale patterns, but have them work patterns slowly and deliberately, concentrating on building muscle memory.

The ALFRED SOUND INNOVATIONS instruction book series is far and wide the best primer edition.

For euphonium, be sure to look for the BC indication.
