Does my cash box makeover give faerie vibes? DIY stepsšŸ‘‡ (Swipe for progress pics)

The process included; sanding the surface, priming, painting the box, sculpting in air dry clay and attaching with e6000 glue, painting the sculpted parts once dry and finally adding two or three layers of varnish.

I had an old metal cash box that had seen better days. I was bringing it to art markets and wanted to make it into something I’d be happy to look at instead. Some of my buyers loved it.

I hope this helps someone.

I crocheted this colorful cat ear hat and I’m really happy with how it turned out! I added big ears, long braided ties and tassels to give it a whimsical fantasy look. This was such a fun project to make!

Looking for more Fairy like books, movies or TV shows with Fae with Wings like this...

Hello there, sorry if this has been asked before, but wanted to refresh a question. Or maybe get some new updated recommendations.

Wanted to ask for a book, movie or TV show that feels similar to Sugar Apple Fairy Tale in terms of the fairy or fae. I am not looking for slice of life or whimsical, just the fae or fairy that have wings on their backs like the show. Where they can feel people touch their wings, they can have them stolen and ect. And not just a single scene in which they appear. I like seeing them and even when they describe the details of their beautiful wings.

My only desire is HEA, spicy (open door and above) and nothing too short, and for movies or TV shows it can be anime and such. If it is longer then that is better. šŸ’™ Even bonus if the male main character is the fae like in the show. šŸ’™

Thank you for the read and recommendations if you know of anything like this. Have a great day. šŸ™‚

Does anyone get vibes on my tree friend?

I’m not afraid of them, but they look intimidating. I asked for a picture beforehand and said thank you, but I’m pretty sure it’s a dryad or some sort of fae. There’s no convincing me otherwise. If anyone can tell me this tree’s name, spirit, etc. I’d be greatly obliged.

Is there any fey with 2 cat legs and a tail but a somewhat humanoid upper body?

I’m not necessarily a believer but I had an odd experience. I’ve had a rough few months and last night in particular I was pretty depressed and fell asleep feeling very sorry for myself. Middle of the night I wake up ( or dream I wake up) hearing a purring noise interrupted by talking. The voice is telling me something along the lines of I’m worried about ya kid I thought we had had an understanding and you were doing better. I see the haunch of a cat walk on my pillow past my face and feel it brush my hand. The creature seems to realize I’m somewhat awake and look kinda into my eyes. Before brushing up against me and leaving. Now I would entirely dismiss this as a dream but as it left it moved the door and when I woke up the door was in the new position.

Hair offering to Tooth Fairy ??

Hi, all. I’m writing this on a burner account as my original account has my full name in my username. Now, for a bit of context, I want to share a tiny bit of my childhood life before I get into the reason I’m on here and asking questions. I figure the Reddit professionals will know more than I do.
Ā
Since I can remember, I’ve loved faeries. When I was a little girl, I was OBSESSED with them. When my mom asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I’d told her I wanted to be a woodland faery and be in the forest with the tree spirits (mind you, my family is very Christian/Catholic, but my mom would support my choices when it came to things like this – she probably thought it was just a ā€œkid thingā€). I even tried to write an alternative story to Thumbelina (I know now, as an adult, she wasn’t necessarily a faery to begin with) when I was probably eight or nine, thinking that the faeries would appreciate a fan of them creating literature for them, although when I think about writing it, I remember something telling me not to continue it. Since I can remember, I’ve always loved Tinkerbell and I still adore all of the movies. I also remember every time my mom and I would go out to the shops and stores, I would always ask to buy any books, coloring books, pictures—anything that had these tiny little creatures I was obsessed with. I think one day my mom got tired of me, lowkey, because she sort of tried to push Hello Kitty on me.
Ā
Anyway, I’m getting off track a bit.
The going to the stores thing is what I want to touch on. I don’t remember exactly WHERE it was, but it was a secondhand store of sorts, I saw it—THEE IT. It was a pillow to hang off of your doorknob to give your teeth to the ā€œTooth Fairyā€. I remember that I was ELATED about it, but I wasn’t even losing teeth at this age. I started losing my younger teeth later in my childhood. I’d made some bad decisions and tried to loosen my teeth on my own before they were ready, looked up YouTube tutorials on ways to lose your teeth quicker—basically anything I could do so I could give the Tooth Fairy my teeth. Ā Because of the fact that I just wasn’t getting any teeth loose or losing any, I decided that I would (again do something stupid) cut a small chunk of my hair and put it into the little pocket for the Tooth Fairy to come take.
The way the tales of Santa, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, etc., etc., were told in my family were a bit weird. My mother never pushed the idea of these tales of people or beings breaking into the house to leave gifts (I remember one time I called Santa a p*do because he gave candy to children, had them eat the candy on his lap, and he’d ask them what the child wants from him… creepy), but my dad on the other hand really went crazy. Especially for Santa. Despite that, neither parent went hard on pushing for the Tooth Fairy, all that was really said was that ā€œif you lose a tooth, you put it under your pillow and the Tooth Fairy will come give you a couple dollars!!ā€ and that was basically it.
Funnily enough, I didn’t even really believe in Santa or the Bunny because they were told to me like they were full-sized human-like beings. At least the Tooth Fairy was small—she’d be able to sneak in and out without waking me up. That was my main thinking strategy, even as just a small kid.
Ā
Anyhoo, back to offering a chunk of my hair to the Tooth Fairy. I had put the chunk, loose, into the little pocket of the pillow and went to bed that night without a care. I remember being a little giddy and thinking that the Tooth Fairy might bring something different than money, though I was also hoping that I didn’t make her mad by giving her my hair rather than a tooth. A day went by without any activity and I was sort of devastated that nothing happened. That day, I flipped the pillow around so my mom didn’t see what I had done and I went to school, my mom went to work, and that was that. That night, I flipped the pillow around and gave it one more shot, hair still intact, and went to bed. The next morning – an almond. in. its. shell. Was there. It wasn’t near the holidays where the bags of nuts come out to be hand-cracked, we didn’t keep nuts in the house, and there aren’t any almond trees nearby where I had lived at the time. I had waited a few weeks and asked my mom, who up until this point had never lied to me when I asked questions about fairy tale-esque things—I outright told her that I put a chunk of my hair in the pocket of my pillow and I got a nut, in the shell, in return. She told me it wasn’t her that did it and I believe her.
Ā
I’m so sorry for the longwinded message, but I genuinely have no idea what to think. This has been haunting me for about 17-18 years now and I just recently remembered it happened. For context on the house, we lived in an apartment, single mother and daughter living in the home. Mom was at work the entire day leading up to the almond gift, we had absolutely no mice, birds, or other types of animals in the apartment – other than a senior cat. The pillow was hung on my closet doorknob and it WAS flipped around the entire day before I flipped it back around the night before the almond was placed in it. And—I live in NW Pennsylvania. We don’t have big rodents around that would’ve replaced the chunk of hair with a random almond. I still don’t even know where the almond came from. Plus, it was fully intact. No bite marks or chewing marks whatsoever.
Ā
I added a photo of what the pillow sort of looked like, although I can’t find exactly what it looked like. The one I had looked like it was made in the late 80s/early 90s with embroidery and lots of mulberry and maroon colors. I don’t think the pillows had been mass-produced – hell, it could’ve been homemade for all I know. I’ve also added a photo for accessibility for the look of the almond just to gain some perspective.
Please, if anyone has any ideas or insights, please let me know. I want to believe that this was actually a fairy, but I have half a mind to believe it was my mother. I just don’t think she’d be that cruel to play on the one obsession I had.
Again, my apologies for this being such a long message. Thank you to anyone who read this entire thing!!

How to tell if there are fae in my house?

Last night I saw a blue orb fly in my hallway. I only got to view half of it before it backed away to where it came from.
And now this morning I’ve been seeing small things in my peripheral and I looked under a cabinet and heard a very tiny chirp.
I feel like something is here and I’m not scared. I want to make sure I respect them so I want to learn about them and how I should act to treat them with kindness. I told them that they are welcome in my home as long as they don’t have any bad intentions because we only welcome positive energy in my house. And I also put out a bowl of mozzarella cheese for them in a place where my cats can’t reach it and I told them out loud that it was my gift for them. I think my cats can see them too and I think that my husband is going to worry that I’m crazy but hopefully they will show themselves to him too. I will take all the information and advice anyone is willing to share with me. Thank you !! Oh also I put on fairy music, I don’t know if they like it but any advice on that would be great too.

Im new to the fae and I don't really interact with them often but I have a question regarding if you can ask for a certain type of fae your second or third time interacting with them

For starters I'm writing this because I'm an idiot I may have pissed off the fae before and made peace with them in the past and had one come to me in my dreams telling me they were real and stuff but I was wondering if you were able to ask for like a certain type of fae to speak to such as a fairy elf etc because I want to speak to an elf but idk if the fae are they generous to interact with me.

Experience

I was wondering if anyone in this community who is interested in learning about The Sidhe has used this website to try to connect with them and if you did, what was your experience? My friend claims it’s real and if you do have a friend among them you will start feeling connection. I’m having hard time believing everything he says as he really into everything Fae/Sidhe etc, so I would love to know if there are more people out there that has tried this.

I apologise if this is not allowed.
