My new car rides too smooth

I’m 46 and I really like a good driving experience with a manual transmission. Bought a new car and it feels like a Cadillac because it’s too smooth and quiet… And I hate that.

I accidentally turned my favorite show into a dinner-only show

Last week I randomly started watching a show that turned out to be perfect for me. It is entertaining enough to keep me interested but not so intense that I cannot look away for five seconds.

The problem is that I watched the first episode while eating dinner, and now my brain has decided that this is officially my dinner show.

I cannot watch it during the afternoon because it feels wrong. I also cannot watch it without food because apparently I have created a completely unnecessary rule for myself.

Now I spend the whole day thinking about watching the next episode, but I have to wait until dinner like it is some kind of reward system I accidentally invented.

I miss the days when I could watch a show whenever I wanted.
