God I remember playing BattleCats with the “unlimited currency” apk and living the dream of being a giga leviathan, spending probably the equivalent of tens of thousands of dollars. I didn’t even understand the concept of a gacha back then. Good times. Probably not as easy to do it nowadays
Since Battle Cats has old fashioned transfer code save transfers it’s actually incredibly easy to cheat lol. benefit to being a singleplayer game is they dont have to care about that

You don't even need an apk. I remember using GameGuardian + any parallel space app back then to give me as many or as few resources as I wanted. Using the Cat God thing to cost negative resources

Theres a save editor on github. Ive uses it for years to unlock the collab cats and cheat in catfood, tickets, catfruit, whatever. I clear stages legit and still have fun. Never been banned.
I dont advocate for cheating, and you shoudlnt do it... but its super easy.
A lot of artists tend to go where the rest of people are, which is why you'll see them switch to something like Blue Archive or...well, WOULD be Uma Musume if Cygames didn't bar it which is probably doing wonders for getting JP eyes on the western hentai community since they can't effectively enforce that worldwide, may be part of the push against the draconian censorship rules there, even and you inevitably get the old standbys, whose styles you might get overly used to or simply miss another artist who moved on. It happened to Kantai Collection and Touhou (to a lesser degree) and it'll keep happening. Merely the way of trends.

It's still so fucking funny to me that so many copycats copied Hoyo that FGO has went from bottom-of-the-barrel garbage rates to actually fairly middle-of-the-pack. (Still towards the back, though)
That, and you're more likely to pull Saber from a random single pull in FGO than in HSR. Yes soft pity and the lower pity means it's easier to get her in HSR but that's not the funny part
Real honest, I know that FGO still make banks, but I still did not expect that it will still take number 1 spot this year.
Last year got real hype engine going into it. 1000 quartzes award, 10th anniversary, upcoming Epilogue, etc, this year definitely feels more low-key and chill compared to last year’s.
