About Endfield, before PVP started, I went back and looked at previous monthly revenue charts, and realized that since March(1.1, TangTang banner), Endfield has never topped Arknights revenues in the chart since. And before you point out the 30-70 ratio of mobile to PC(and this is assuming this has somehow not changed, which is unlikely), Arknights mobile only revenue often beats the estimated total revenue of Endfield PC and Mobile COMBINED.

Also, do keep in mind that on CN, the AK PC client is more popular/downloaded than the Endfield PC client, so there’s an unaccounted for large amount of revenue coming from there, so we can assume more often then not Arknights overall revenue is beating Endfield. Also note that production values for Endfield are significantly higher than Arknights due to the scope and nature of each game(3D high fidelity explorable world vs 2D PNG gacha with stages). You just kind of have to wonder how the situation internally at HG is going where their Genshin/Wuwa competitor is raking in less profit than AK.

The Endfield players will tell you otherwise even if the evidence is in their face.

What do you want them to do about it? Like cry or something? 😭😭

That money ain't going in their pockets, it's a high production very pretty game and they are enjoying playing it. Why are you so desperate to let them know "HEY HEY, YOUR GAME IS FAILING" like they own stocks in it 🤣

Because they need to maintain the agenda

What I find interesting is that we don't see HG is concerned by this. The next 2 patches are business as usual. It seems they are happy with the 1 month per patch length too.

Endfield has an official top-up store unlike OG Arknights , how does it factor in your argument ?

Personnaly as an Endfield player and a dolphin , i always do my top ups from the online store and in AK i'm forced to use google play which if i'm understanding this chart correctly can be estimated.

Is there nott a way to track the revenue from the official top-up site ?

The ratio the devs gave already included official top up store as non mobile.

I thought the same thing AKE has lost tons of players the last few patches. After 1.2 revenue hasn't properly recovered. 1.3 was the worst patch by far 10M for both banners but not many people saw it because they wre both in the same month. I knew shit was bad when even 1.4, which was a banger patch couldn't rise above 10M with Arcane wich was a really good unit. Still 6M for Liino is decent, looks like they improvments they made brought some people back.

I like how the devs don't seem to be worried about the reveneu that would only lead to bad desicions. Even had a huge booth at gamescom and have rented a 37-floor building a new HQ. AKE probably made more than enough money at launch to cover whatever dvelopment and advertisment cost it had and now is either profitable or is breaking even. Hypergryph also can always relay on AK for extra income to support it's other activities.

They seem to be doing well for now and willing to bet AKE will become more profitable as they release more content. Same thing happened in AK in year 2 were a lot of people came to the game once they had released IS and some necessery Qol.

Arknights (Original Mobile Baseline)

Income & Profit: Generates a highly predictable 2.5 billion RMB (~$350M USD) annually. However, profitability has historically been throttled by the traditional 30% mobile app store fee.

Strategic Role: Functions as Hypergryph’s foundational annuity cash flow. To recapture lost margins, Hypergryph aggressively migrated players to direct web top-up portals, slashing transaction costs from 30% down to 2% to 5%.

Arknights: Endfield (The Multi-Platform Accelerator)

Income Velocity: Exploded at launch, capturing 1.2 billion RMB (~$173M USD) in just its first 14 days globally.

The Profit Margin Jackpot: Official data confirms that 60% (China) to 70% (Global) of Endfield'sincome bypasses mobile ecosystems entirely, flowing through PC and PlayStation 5. By driving the vast majority of players to its first-party Gryphline PC client, Hypergryph retains near-100% of player spending, resulting in a vastly superior net profit margin per dollar spent compared to the original game.

Total Estimated Revenue: Combining cumulative mobile spending (which passed $126 million on storefronts across versions 1.0 to 1.3) with the dominant 60–70% PC and console shares, Arknights: Endfield is tracking at an estimated $500 million USD globally. [1]

This is obviously an ai text, but it makes it quite obvious, that Endfield makes more money than Arknights did before.

Wait, if Endfield made $500m global than it's made 66% more for the same patch cycle from 1.0 to 1.3

And I bet NTE was way way cheaper to produce than Endfields ultra high quality visuals.

oh i think nte is as profitable or more profitable than Endfield rn.

u/Hakul 49m ago

NTE is probably the most profitable 3D gacha since they have like 1/10 the team size of other gachas. The power of AI slop.

u/Perfect-Lettuce3890 35m ago

As far as I remember people said AI SLOP is not good enough.

It seems like that if a game is fun enough people don't care about having the morale high ground.

u/Hakul 11m ago

Yeah and I'm not gonna diss anyone enjoying NTE, but it's worth mentioning when it comes to evaluating profit.

Endfield devs provided the ratio on launch.
