imo after this genshin will enter unknown era, there is only few things left to be waited from the early teaser and no more "archon" to be flagship. perhaps they could another bina or maybe "emanator" type character like HSR in future
yeah but bina is one-time trick for moon region, it's not going to work same as before as teyvat have been set for 7 nations, adding more sub-region with same level of moon-nod krai relevancy wouldn't work.
unless they are going to showcase another type of "7 nations" after teyvat chapter then the hype wouldn't be the same. but then if they do it very similar like 7 nations then it would just be repetitive
This might sound crazy but I'm actually looking forward to GI's anniversary. Last year they gave us 4 free limited char constellations per year and a standard char selector. It can't get any worse than that. Not to mention that 2 characters in the standard banner are strong as hell right now.
kinda funny to see the contrast to HSR's anniversary. people were talking a lot about HSR's anniversary characters, then you see Genshin releasing characters that pretty much skippable during anniversary lol.
i really doubt that, in short-term yes but not in long term. the fatigue would easily and quickly coming.
bringing capitano and dottore would just undoing the natlan-nod krai-sumeru story, imo it hurt the game more than anything especially if they just do it without good reason.
and bringing sinners, the witches, sovereigns out of nowhere without good buildup only create hype-fatigue. the nod-krai itself almost exhausted the player with sudden apperances of important characters.
the archons hype work because they are always have been tied with their region kit and lore wise. kinda making them like superstar in the recent region, people can expect when they are going to release and how long they can last.
if they choose to release those important people without being accompanied with something big like region i think it only end with HSR Emanator type character which honestly pretty disappointing so far with how much they churning it out
Where did you get the idea that Nod Krai exhausted players with its cast of important characters? Every opinion I see about Nod Krai says that the region's best feature is its cast of characters.
the inspiration doesn't matter when main story hammered dottore story being finished as his main body destroyed and half of his soul being dragged to hell by other segments of himself (No one hate dottore than zandik lol).
also it would be stupid to fight another dottore again for real, twice should be the max to beat that guy
dude, he dead. his segments all fried, soul finished after his other half being blasted by bina and other half burned in irminsul shenanigans, memory transfer is another rabbit hole and potential target (feofan/pantalone) doesn't even entertained it.
at that point it just "Somehow palpatine is back" but worse.
genshin doesn't really have character to be bbeg, the villain in the story is inescapable end of civilization which is abyss itself. the whole 5+ years game is always revolved around it
