I don't know what enfield is doing wrong. Its a good game. But arknights is doing way better, maybe the market just isn't there for the 3d version, even with great graphics and weighty animations, much nicer stat systems than other gatchas, decent character and weapon banner.
And id say the story and boss fights are pretty solid.
Also before people say mobile sales, wuwa and zzz are way worse optimised on mobile and pc. I had no issues playing enfield on mobile.
Edit combat isn't great though but its no worse than NTE.
I mean...there are multiple things that affected it initially, but obviously the biggest one is the factory. Even though you can mostly ignore it and just use blueprints, just the existence of it means most casual players will turn the game off and never look back.
People were saying this even before it launched. Factory gameplay is just an extremely niche space compared to what the other 3D gachas are pushing for.
Another thing that I personally think affected it is the fact that it had 0 endgame modes on launch. I have never seen a 3D gacha game release with quite literally nothing to test your teams/characters on and feel your progression. I was baffled by that decision. The result was that most people never bothered to learn the combat and so we still have people pushing agenda that the combat is trash now.
These days, there are multiple modes to test your teams on, so now it's fine, but still...
Yea i get that i just felt since they were improving everything in the game every patch seems like it would stabilise rather than dip.
But tbf i’m not playing it anymore either. And i think the combat is just not as good as things like zzz and wuwa.
Still kinda surprising that its going down every month.
