Nope May scores lowest with less than 5 million when there was no new character for a whole month, but this time there was a new character and it does only slightly better so you can see the playerbase really has dropped ever since then.

I want to get back into it but I just feel like it would be really annoying having to redo the factory a bunch

I dont even bother with factory. Devs just straight up give you gear for new characters instead of building factory to craft the gear. Musta figured out noone except reddit likes factory

That gear isn’t good. They need to make the factory completely optional.

It's not the best but it's enough to get all the pull rewards from the combat modes

There isnt any meaningful content that requires good gear tho. Meaningful = gacha pulls or rare items.

It's almost completely unobtrusive already. You go copy Kyo's base and cable manage a few pipes for new resources if any, and you're set up for the patch.
