I just don’t think they have too lol. The primary issue people have is with the story. If you want to skip the factory you can copy and paste a blue print which takes 5 minutes.

The problem is that the BP system is really tedious.

You cannot just simply select a factory and plop it down, no you have to copy 5 or so different blue prints and align them properly which is just tedious.

it's 20 minutes of work that'll last 6 weeks or more...at that point i just don't know what to say.

20 minutes kinda long and tedious for typical gacha gameplay though.

20 minutes that you spend once every month and a half or more? jesus christ man do you even like playing games? That's such a painfully lazy thing to admit to.

thats long for such a minigame though, it feels longer of its tedious gameplay you hate like factory.

honestly its ok if they just made that factory gameplay as their only gameplay and not baiting casual with action gameplay.

I wasted fucking years trying to build perfect artifact sets for several characters in Genshin Impact. By the second year, I literally hated every second of that grind. I laugh when I read about “20 minutes of tedious gameplay.”

calling it a minigame is rather odd when it's a core gameplay feature lol. Also it's not baiting when there's a bunch of other combat modes in the game. Do you even know what you're talking about?

action gameplay is the core gameplay because thats what sells the character, nobody pulling for some factory lol.

problem here is the minigame gameplay factory is blocking the core action gameplay that most people prefer, just like tv in zzz

Oh but wasting time every day farming for RNG in other games is clearly better right?

doing it for few minutes per day is better than stting 20 minutes just to prepare, besides its braindead easy for most game you can do it while watching something else, plus many have skip button.

I'm sorry but that's a severe lack of attention spam. Literally looking at a 20min in depth guide from Kyostinv that's literally just plug and play and literally handholding atp can't be too hard no?

man hearing that guide is 20 minss long already turn off people lol, thats some long ass stupid puzzle just like zzz tv and somehow people think making. no wonder the game flopped

There's people who go about their day in that same amount of time doing stuff like farming for gear and getting nothing for it.

That 20mins literally has you automate making your gear and other resources for your characters for the rest of the patch cycle and you can forget about it until another big change.

In the grand scheme of things that 20mins is literally nothing. If people are willing to watch 2 hour guides to get every chest in a Genshin region, then I don't see how 20mins of handholding of "placing the square in the square hole" factory blueprint placing is so hard 😭

except farming with exploring and battle is braindead easy that you can do it while watching netflix or animes, unlike factory. some even has skip.

even if it last for whole patches, its a long ass preparation to sit through.

casual dont watch guide for every chest lol, thats is just hardcore completionist or poor gacha players.

I feel like what you’re pointing out is more telling of the factory system than the players no? The factory system is so unenjoyable that the average player doesn’t want to even engage with it for 20 minutes every patch lol
