I want to get back into it but I just feel like it would be really annoying having to redo the factory a bunch

Yeah its annoying, they have to make the factory completely optional or many people will continue to have a hard time coming back.

Even to do blueprints you need to have a bunch of x and y materials that you get from factory, so its not really a great option.

I'd rather them EoS than compromise their vision to appeal to a broader audience.

Yeah, that's where it is clearly heading so enjoy a game with no future unless they broaden their audience.

It's not gonna EoS, they have too much money for that. So yeah a lot of players would much rather have it stay niche than the game get worse for them.
