My brother won a Twitter giveaway from Capcom USA for a copy of Pragmata signed by David Menkin (Hugh's VA) and since he knew how much I adored it, he gave it to me. There's also a pretty cool pin it came with. Genuinely blown away to have this and a huge thank you to Capcom for the giveaway!

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 - Black Label (English Version)

Most likely, if you find it, it will be in Spanish, Italian, or German. However, finding the English version in Black Label and sealed condition is almost impossible.

This thing has been in a closet for years and years and every once in a while I’ll try and fix a game with it and it comes out worse than when I started. I found family guy really cheap at a thrift but it’s scratched to hell so I said screw it and I spinned it keeping it wet with a Clorox wipe for 5 solid minutes I probably made 10 revolutions because it had deep gouges. The game works now, it wouldn’t even boot before. I guess I’ve been doing it wrong all these years.

So I've been slowly picking up ps3 games every day before going into work. Just doing this through the whole month of August. Happy with how many I ended up finding.

I finally sat down and cleaned up this PS3 haul. Stickers off, Goo Gone + 99% rubbing alcohol for the leftover residue, then into OPP sleeves. A lot of these have been on my “want to play” list for years. Happy they’re all looking decent now.

It finally happened to me. Normal day come to work last week I had helped a guy by giving him my old crt and a PS2 memory card. He brings me a bag of games and says here these looked boring maybe they'll interest you and lo and behold in there with guitar hero 3 for PS3 were these 4 ps1 beauties

Everything is complete. It’s not factory sealed as I did use this to play Eternal Darkness with back in the day. Also have a Wavebird controller and the Q controller is completely unused. 💝

At least we get a new MGS4 port before the end of physical releases :/

Been collecting physical again for just over a year. Sold a LOT of stuff over the years to pay bills. Now im the proud owner of a modded Dreamcast, PS1,modded PS2, N64, Analogue 3D, SNES, Switch 2 and a PS5. I use a flash cart for stuff over like $100 and only really collect the things I will 100% play. Just some game collections, my CRT i got for free from a coworker and bonus vinyl since I have some video game music.

I dont know what to collect or get next. Thinking a Genesis for Toe Jam and Earl (both) and the Sonic games. Also the McDonalds Treasure Land Adventure is underrated.

I’m honestly shocked by the generosity of others, my uncle gifted me all these titles plus a ps3 with 4 controllers! My lucky streak continues as I am also picking up Spyro Collectors Edition as well as some loose copies of Spiderman and Spiderman 2: Enter Electro all for PS1 with a trade for a jacket I have.

Local guy posted to his own Facebook timeline and my wife happened to see it. I was 20+ minutes late to the post and about 10 comments behind, but I was still able to secure the bag because the scalpers were too busy calculating. This is a nice piece to add to the collection!

Edit: "scalpers" was resellers. I meant someone trying to make a quick buck. Had to correct it since it was a misconception and causing a lot of issues in the comments.

I love the artwork on the spines. I prefer a smaller, curated game collection, and I have to limit myself or I tend to go crazy. I decided to focus on first party Nintendo games. I still need a few games like Splatoon Raiders and Mario Kart World. If it’s a GKC like Pokopia I will just buy it digitally. I also buy some third party games, but only digital and only when they go on sale. I’m really impressed with the variety of gameplay styles in the first party Switch 2 library and I’m impressed how many IPs are already represented on the system (especially if you count S2 Editions). It felt like it took a long time for the S1 to have representation from most of Nintendo’s franchises. Speaking of S2 Editions, I am on the fence whether or not to start collecting them. I already own most of them digitally but the upgrade packs require lots of storage and I’ve been debating repurchasing my S1 collection physically. Collecting S2 Editions would be a nice middle ground, but still very expensive, and I sort of like the more focussed criteria of collecting S2 exclusives.

The only downside? instant soup for me for the next decade but otherwise happy that snagged a mint disc.

Sorry for how messy the room is but my girlfriend has moved in and we are moving stuff around so it is a but messy and this is not my entire collection. The chucky doll is hers. Ive definitely added more games to my "special" shelves and I've added more games in general. I love being able to collect childhood favorites again and just collecting in general. Im thinking of starting to get the silent hill games but unsure of which console to collect them for. Anyone have any suggestions of which games to get next?
